In this section you will find out about the format of the competition.
The dates of the competition are;
Audition Round: Jan 1 - Jan 14
Audition Round (Judging): Jan 15 - Jan 21
First Round: Jan 22 - Feb 4
First Round (Judging): Feb 5 - Feb 11
Second Round: Feb 12 - Feb 18
Second Round (Judging): Feb 19 - Feb 25
Third Round: Feb 26 - Mar 4
Third Round (Judging): Mar 5 - Mar 11
Fourth Round: Mar 12 - Mar 18
Fourth Round (Judging): Mar 19 - Mar 25
Quarter-Final: Mar 26 - April 1
Quarter-Final (Judging) - April 2 - April 8
Semi-Final: April 9 - April 15
Semi-Final (Judging) - April 16 - April 22
Final: April 23 - April 29
Final (Judging): April 30 - May 6

In the audition round, the audio of all of those who have submitted entries will be posted on the site, the judges will then vote for their 10 favourites who will go through to the First Round. From there onwards, CMM members (who joined the site before Jan 1st) will be able to vote on the songs for each round as 10 contestants are reduced to 8, then to 6, to 4, to 3, down to the final 2 and then finally the CMM Idol 2 Champion is crowned.
The rules for which songs you're allowed to sing in each round are as follows. If you are not sure whether a song is permitted in the round, please contact lallybrooky.
Audition
You can pick any Christina song that she has sung...providing you can prove that she's sung it.
First Round
You can pick any Christina song that she has sung...providing you can prove that she's sung it.
Second Round
You can pick any song from her 'Stripped' album.
Third Round
You can pick any song from her 'Christina Aguilera' album.
Fourth Round
You must pick a single off her 'Stripped' album (it must have been released in any country of the world as a single)
Quarter-Final
You must pick any song from her 'Christina Aguilera' album.
Semi-Final
You may pick a song from any artist.
Final
You can pick 1 song from Stripped and 1 which can be any other song (providing you can prove that she's sung it).
