In this section you will find out about the format of the competition.
The dates of the competition are;
Audition Round: Jan 1 - Jan 27
Audition Round (Judging): Jan 28 - Feb 12
First Round: Feb 13 - Mar 9
First Round (Judging): Mar 10 - Mar 16
Second Round: Mar 17 - Mar 23
Second Round (Judging): Mar 24 - April 13
Third Round: April 14 - April 20
Third Round (Judging): April 21 - April 27
Fourth Round: April 28 - May 4
Fourth Round (Judging): May 5 - May 11
Quarter-Final: May 12 - May 18
Quarter-Final (Judging): May 19 - May 25
Semi-Final: May 26 - June 1
Semi-Final (Judging): June 2 - June 8
Final: June 9 - June 15
Final (Judging): June 16 - June 22

In the audition round, the audio of all of those who have submitted entries will be posted on the site, the judges will then vote for their 10 favourites who will go through to the First Round. From there onwards, CMM members (who joined the site before Jan 1st) will be able to vote on the songs for each round as 10 contestants are reduced to 8, then to 6, to 5, to 4, to 3, down to the final 2 and then finally the CMM Idol 5 Champion is crowned.
The rules for which songs you're allowed to sing in each round are as follows. If you are not sure whether a song is permitted in the round, please contact lallybrooky.
Audition
You can pick any Christina song that she has sung...providing you can prove that she's sung it.
First Round
You can pick any Christina song that she has sung...providing you can prove that she's sung it.
Second Round
You can pick any song from her 'Back To Basics' album.
Third Round
You can pick any song from her 'Christina Aguilera' album.
Fourth Round
You can pick any Christina song that she has sung...providing you can prove that she's sung it.
Quarter-Final
You can pick any song from her 'Stripped' album.
Semi-Final
You may pick a song from any artist and any single from any of Christina's albums (it must have been released in any country of the world as a single).
Final
You can pick 1 song from Back To Basics and 1 which can be any other song (providing you can prove that she's sung it).
