Third Round (Voting) - May 12th 2008
The Third Round voting is now up, with the audios of the 7 people that you chose added to the site. Two contestants will be eliminated in this round.
As usual, the voting is on a scale of 5, with 5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest. Your score for each of the contestants will be averaged to find their result. You will only be able to vote if you have listened to the audio file.
Please be aware that we will be checking the logs for irregular voting patterns and that at CMM we take cheating very seriously.
Second Round (Voting) Results - April 13th 2008
The results of the voting for the Second Round have been added to the site. Congratulations to those who have gone through and a big thank you to the contestant who didn't for taking part in the competition.
In this round two contestants tied with the second bottom score, so only one contestant has been eliminated in this round (instead of the specified two). Because of this, in the next round two contestants will be eliminated instead of the specified one.

Audition Round (Judging) - January 28th 2008
First of all, the CMM Idol 5 site has a new layout and the audios of all those who entered the Audition Round have been added to the Current Round section. I must remind all contestants that this is an anonymous round. Failure to comply with this rule WILL result in disqualification.
This round will be judged by the judges, who will choose the 10 best entrants to go through to the First Round, from then onwards it will be up to you, the CMM members, to decide who will progress.
The judges are: kati, lkjhg and Pre-Pre!
The same rule as on Christina Showcase applies;
"By downloading files off this site, you agree to refrain from comments that are hurtful or inappropriate, and are restricted to only use constructive criticism."

Audition Submissions Deadline Extended! - January 13th 2008
The CMM Idol 5 Submissions deadline has been extended due to the number of entries we have received so far. Also due to a number of requests about this, the competition will be open to anyone (including previous CMM Idol Finalists)
The deadline for entries is now Midnight EST on January 20th.
Please note that I have sent confirmations to everyone who has entered so far (both to the email listed on their CMM profile and by PM) - so if you haven't received this confirmation, please re-submit before the deadline to ensure you don't miss out!
We're also still accepting CMM Idol judge applications!

Welcome to CMM's annual singing competition, CMM Idol 5! If you are thinking about entering the competition, please read through the information below, where you will find the rules and the format of the competition.
The deadline for entries is Midnight EST on January 13th.
