Here are the results of the Audition Round (Judging).
Below are the audio files for all of the contestants. The contestants which are underlined are the contestants who have been chosen for the next round.
parishilton (Contestant 01) - A Song For You [MP3]
kati: You've got a strong voice and you sing really beautiful. My advice for you would be, to make the song to your song and sing less adlibs you heard from Christina. You can sing them but sometimes it's better to keep it simple.
lkjhg: fantastic vocals the song is perfect for her voice
Pre-Pre: did really well! voice projects. I love how she stayed in her ranged and didn't try to be too much like Christina. did really well on high notes on of my faves
xton (Contestant 02) - Aint No Other Man [MP3]
kati: The timing of this song is difficult and you did it really well, but you have to pay attention at the key. So maybe next time with accompaniment.
lkjhg: good- changed the lyrics to fit him but not great tone
Pre-Pre: I like how he changed the words to fit gender. did really well. very clear voice. great vibrato.
diegomaxedu (Contestant 03) - Beautiful [MP3]
kati: The accompaniment is louder than your voice, and there's much reverb. That makes it hard to judge your singing. I think you don't need to "cover" your voice like that, because it's beautiful.
lkjhg: music too loud to hear him properly but his voice is good
Pre-Pre: should have brought the music down and used less reverb. WAY too much reverb. was inaudible. didn't really seem like they were into singing the song. don't get too carried away with trying to adlib and try to actually sing the words.
sas2791 (Contestant 04) - Beautiful [MP3]
kati: You have to breathe in the right way and put less pressure on your voice. Try to stay in key and sing with an accompaniment next time.
lkjhg: carries well but too nasal
Pre-Pre: try to sing more from your stomach. singing from throat and nose not good. back away from the mic when you sing. a little otherwise did well. adlib less.
Mikey (Contestant 05) - Car Wash [MP3]
kati: The timing of this song is very difficult and you did it really well, but you have to pay attention at the right intonation and the key. Let your beautiful voice out into the world. Don't stop it! Trust your voice!
lkjhg: couldn't hit the high notes but ok so maybe a lower song would work better
Pre-Pre: has a nice tone. needs to project more you sound bored until the end, but you need to keep that projection through out whole song. this is a feel good song!
antxtina (Contestant 06) - Cruz [MP3]
kati: You've got a beautiful voice and you're using it in a great way. Something to improve, are the high notes. They sound a bit exerted, but I think you could sing them better. Just let them out. They have to sound easy.
lkjhg: absolutely fantastic
Pre-Pre: nice tone. stayed in his own key. clear. good job. one of my favs
Bennycat (Contestant 07) - Cruz [MP3]
kati: Concerning intonation and rhythm - Very well done! I think you could trust your voice and let her power out. You sound a bit bored or like you weren't sure about what you're singing. Work at your interpretation.
lkjhg: he changed the song slightly to fit his singing abilities and he is very talented
Pre-Pre: i like how when he sings, his words are very clear. nice tone
Diva (Contestant 08) - Cruz [MP3]
kati: You put much pressure on your voice. That's not good. It sounds not bad but you get raucous from singing and that's always a sign of a wrong method. Maybe you should sing with an accompaniment next time because you tend to change tunes.
lkjhg: she tried to copy Christina and it doesn't fit her voice
Pre-Pre: good vibrato at the beginning. a bit flat at times.
XLovelyX (Contestant 09) - Dreamy Eyes [MP3]
kati: You showed a lot of colours in your voice. That's great! Don't try to copy Christina. It's good to learn from her, but try to create your own version of the song.
lkjhg: I just loved it- unaccompanied but her voice was brilliant and the high notes at the end were good
Pre-Pre: really good. I love her tone. one of my favs
xtina_streetgirl (Contestant 10) - Hello [MP3]
kati: Pay attention to words which start with a vowel. You sing them like there's an H at the beginning. I think you chose a hard song for you, because there are a lot of lyrics in a short time. Very well done!
lkjhg: abit quiet and lacked confidence in her voice until about half way through and then she shied away from the loud high notes
Pre-Pre: good job. don't cut off your words so soon. I notice she has an accent and she controls it really well. not every one can do that. Love her adlibs at the end!
Alex_xtinafan (Contestant 11) - I Turn To You [MP3]
kati: You sound very good, but it would be great if you could get more emotion in your singing.
lkjhg: kept consistent all the way through a nice voice
Pre-Pre: He has a good voice, but he's not a strong as our other contestants
xtinadiva1619 (Contestant 12) - I Turn To You [MP3]
kati: Your voice is great, but it's a pity that you put so much pressure on it. It would be really great without that. Try to make the song to your song and don't try to copy Christina.
lkjhg: she copied Christina and it was kind of nasal although I think another song could work magic for her
Pre-Pre: this contestant did well. But It sounds like you sing from your throat sometimes
k.c_b2b (Contestant 13) - I Will Be [MP3]
kati: You've got a beautiful voice but I think you chose the wrong song. I will be is very Difficult. Maybe it is too difficult for you at the moment. You changed the key and you sound hectically, but these are problems you could solve by practising the song more and singing with an accompaniment.
lkjhg: was off key but voice carried well
Pre-Pre: You were off key alot. I think you were trying to force it too much
spacewill (Contestant 14) - I'm OK [MP3]
kati: You're expressing the feelings of this song in a great way, but you have to work on your singing method and do warm up exercises. Pay attention to the intonation; don't put so much pressure on your voice, because you get the problem that your voice collapses.
lkjhg: it is a difficult song and it shows when this guy sings it, he maybe needs a new microphone as the recording was crackly
Pre-Pre: I couldn't really understand him. I wasn't too impressed with his style.
MyAngel_Xtina (Contestant 15) - Impossible [MP3]
kati: Don't try to copy the adlibs Christina sings, sometimes it's better to keep it simple. If you think it's to boring, than try to find your own style, like you did it at some places. Very Well done!
lkjhg: Baby Jane sound-alike in the house!!!!
Pre-Pre: This is a tough song, but this contestant was able to hold her own, and didn't try to be like Christina. She did great.
Karenp (Contestant 16) - Mercy On Me [MP3]
kati: Sometimes you are off tune, but all in all it sounds really good. Maybe you could put less pressure on your voice to let it sound less exerted. Very well done!
lkjhg: tries to copy Xtina, its not working for her, if she adopted her own style her voice would be a lot better
Pre-Pre: She did really well. She had a really steady flow in her high notes.
dmphaser (Contestant 17) - Mi Reflejo [MP3]
kati: It's great that you can stay in key without the help of an accompaniment even though there are changes of key in the song. Try to express more emotions, because you're singing beautiful, but there's missing something special that makes you unique.
lkjhg: good tone but his voice doesn't carry well
Pre-Pre: He has a nice tone, but it sounds like he struggled with the notes. He's not one of the strongest male vocalists in the competition
Kelis (Contestant 18) - Mi Reflejo [MP3]
kati: You have to pay attention at your intonation. Sometimes, you're a bit flat. You showed a lot of different colours of your voice. Very well done!
lkjhg: good effort great voice
Pre-Pre: She did good. Great control.
Blue-toxic (Contestant 19) - Save Me From Myself [MP3]
kati: Your voice sounds great, and it's beautiful how you sing with this quiet and rustling tone. You could sing with more power sometimes to stress the contrast.
lkjhg: although his voice was off at times he had passion and sounded like he really believed in the song
Pre-Pre: I like his tone and his voice all together! I would love to hear him sing more songs.
Dennis2702 (Contestant 20) - Save Me From Myself [MP3]
kati: You've got great control over your voice and you can sing beautiful "crescendos". Pay attention on words which start with an vowel. Don't sing them like there's an H at the beginning. Sing into the world and don't sing with Christina or yourself on the earphone, because you sound like you were singing to yourself.
lkjhg: no-didn't have the right timing and his voice was flat however it did come across as though he loved singing
Pre-Pre: He did really well. But I'm not sure if he will be one of the strong one's through out
Rick Wood (Contestant 21) - Silent Night (Noche de Paz) [MP3]
kati: I really don't know what to say to this recording, but I don't think it's on the level of this contest.
lkjhg: was very off key but it was obvious they enjoy singing this song
Pre-Pre: I wasn't really feeling this audition. The pitch was all off and they changed key at times that it didn't need to be changed. and the background vocals didn't help at all. I don't feel this contestant is good enough for the competition.
jaysean (Contestant 22) - So Emotional [MP3]
kati: You've got a beautiful and powerful voice. Try to stay in key and practise to get more control over this power.
lkjhg: her voice is nice but she was kind of out of tune and didn't come across well
Pre-Pre: Her voice isn't bad, but alot of notes were off. She did make good changes that went with the melody, but most of them were too flat.
ju1cygrrl (Contestant 23) - Somebodys Somebody [MP3]
kati: You're reaching the notes and you sing right in rhythm and key, but I think you have to do lots of warm up exercises to get more power into your voice. You should practise to breathe in the right way, which means to breathe like you would let the air into your stomach.
lkjhg: there is not much strength in her voice and that is needed for this song
Pre-Pre: This contestant didn't have a bad voice, but I don't feel that she's strong enough to outlast some of the other contestants
Christian0Aguilera (Contestant 24) - Tan Emocional [MP3]
kati: I can't find something to criticise. Of course, there's always something to improve, but this recording is very professional. Great job!
lkjhg: he had a great voice
Pre-Pre: I really like this guy. I like his tone. The backgrounds were definatley on point! He did great.
goodly (Contestant 25) - The Right Man [MP3]
kati: You've got a beautiful and powerful voice. I think you should think less while you're singing. Imagine you're telling a story to a friend and try not to "sit" on every note. Think ahead!
lkjhg: she seemed a bit off as though she didn't know the words or she was reading them
Pre-Pre: She did pretty good, but I don't hear any emotion in her singing. It just sounds like she's not interested into the lyrics or the song at all. She may do that with all her songs.
