How to Submit News to the Christina News Source

First of all you have to check if the article is already posted.

Click on the "SEARCH NEWS" button, which is under the main banner.

Then, Click on Advanced Search Engine:

Headline, you can find articles with the similar Headline, but sometimes they change the Headline for some reasons, and so it is not right to just check this option.  With the URL option you can see if an article with the same URL has already posted.  However, sometimes "same article" has different sources, which means they have different URLs.

*Article Body's option is special, because you can find all the articles with the same sentences as the ones that you put here.

Here is the best way to avoid submitting duplicate articles :

Select and copy some words from the article.  DO NOT use words with a weird/special symbol (such as ", !, ', etc) because they will not work.

Next, paste the words in the *Article Body's option, then click on the Search button :

You will see the article/s that have the same selected words in their body.  The next step is to check if the article that you want to submit is really the same as the article/s found.
If there's no article/s appear, that means we haven't got article with that words.  This is a good sign, also if you want it you can put another sentence to be more sure.

To submit an article, click on the "SUBMIT" button, which is under the main banner, between the "SEARCH NEWS" and "CMM FORUM" buttons.

Here are some short explanations on filling out the form:

YOUR Catchy Headline is the headline that will appear in bold.  It's like creating a new thread in the forum and choosing a title for your thread. The maximum number of characters for your catchy headline is 60.  If you're too lazy to think of any catchy headline, you can just put the actual headline in this part.

Article Type is the type of the article you're going to submit. For example, you look at your magazine and find an article related to Christina, you've typed up the article and want to submit it, you choose "Magazine Article". Another example, you found an article on MTV.com, you choose Internet article.

Article Headline is the actual headline of the article. If the article you're submitting has a headline and a subheadline, you can put the headline as "YOUR Catchy Headline" and the subheadline as the "Article Headline". The maximum number of characters for the "Article Headline" is 120.

Article Date is the date the article was published, not the date you post the article.  For a magazine article, some magazines publish their "March" edition in Febuary, in this case, you can put "March" on the form.

Source is where do you get the article from. For example "MTV.com", "CNN", "Cosmogirl Indonesia magazine", etc etc.

Author is the name of the person who writes the article, not your name or the name of person who typed the article. If the article doesn't have the name of the author, leave it blank.

Article URL is the URL of the article you're going to submit.  Leave it blank if it doesn't have URL, ie. magazine article.  Internet article MUST include Article URL, and all articles that are found on the internet (ie. MTV.com, CNN.com, etc) MUST include Article URL too.

Please put the direct link to the article, not just the site. For example: FALSE: http://www.cnn.com, TRUE: http://www.cnn.com/article7.htm. If you find an article from a Christina fansite, put the URL of the source of the article, NOT the URL of the Christina fansite where you get your articles from.

Article Pic is the picture that will appear beside the article.  All pictures submitted will be auto-resized to fit.  Only JPG/JPEG format of pictures will be accepted.  Please do NOT include a picture UNLESS it is a picture of Christina or directly related to her. That way the pictures do not waste space in the archives.

Your Summary is ONLY required for articles that do NOT mention Christina in the first paragraph. This is where you write a summary of the article regarding the subject (preferred), or include an excerpt of the part of the article that mentions Christina. Do NOT simply write "Xtina mentioned" in the CATCHY TITLE in place of a summary/excerpt. Please write professionally and use proper grammar. Do NOT use profanity, or personal issues that do not relate to the topic. Do not capitalize all your letters and avoid using advertisement means. The maximum characters for your summary is 600 characters. If you leave this space blank, the first 600 characters in your article will be shown as summary. The small box below the summary box has the number of characters left for you. For example you have written 100 characters, you have 500 characters left, so that box will have "500" text in it.

Source Article / Document is where you can write out or paste the article, required for Internet documents, or documents that are printed on magazines and newspapers.  Please do not use any special formating while pasting or writing this article.

Press "Add News" button below the "Source Article / Document" box.

All articles submitted appear instantly, similar to how a forum works.  You have ONE day (24 hours) to edit the article you have submitted.  After that, you won't (missing word) be able to edit your own article unless you're a News Moderator.

You'll get 1 CMM membership point for 2 articles you submitted (0.50 points per article).
