CMM 7.5 Year Anniversary Updates - 04:00PM EST - hmers1
Hurray!  Today is CMM's 7.5th year anniversary!  It's certainly been a long journey for CMM to last seven and a half years, which would not have been possible without the support and commitment of all our loyal members and fans.

We greatly appreciate all the work and contributions that have allowed CMM to stand here as it is today, with years of archived multimedia and content.  CMM's original vision and goal of keeping a comprehensive archive of Christina's history available for current and future fans continues, thanks to you and countless fans from the past who are no longer here with the CMM community.  Although some of us may not be as big of a fan as we used to be, we still visit and help CMM because we believe in this goal.  A goal to help each other, and to make a difference by keeping a very talented artist's history alive for the fan community and future fans to come.

As running a large multimedia archive site of this nature is very costly, all support and contributions are greatly needed and very much appreciated at this time.  I hope CMM can continue its vision and goal for many years to come, and always be here when we need it.

Without further ado, here are the updates for our 7 and a half-year anniversary!

Today for our anniversary we have some zip files for you, filled with FLVs and MP4s of some of the videos that have been posted recently. These videos are on the Express Server so Minor Members and above can download them. Also today we have some HQ videos in the regular sections for Senior Members, which were in the VIP section . But this is only for the month of July; afterwards they will go back in the VIP section. And of course the easiest way to become a VIP is to Contribute money to fund our server costs, which is nearly $2,500 in debt at this point. But don't forget to contribute in other ways like sending us videos of Christina's performances, which hopefully we will have many of in the next few months.

Just to let you know, we're in bad debt at the moment, it's almost -$2,500.  Our debt is not something we can quickly erase, so we need consistent donations from members.  Keep in mind that our servers cost $330 each month, so we need more than that to make our debt go down.

Another lovely forum update, on the eve of a big birthday bash. - 12:08AM EST - century
Hello again everybody, I’m here on this last update before CMM’s big 7,5 Anniversary to give you guys some more news.

First heading straight to Xtina lounge as always, to check the newest things. And it might be getting old, but we’ve got yet another producer to add to the growing list of people Christina’s working with: Major Lazer. In case any of you are wondering, that’s not some kind of Dr. Evil doomsday device, but the man responsible for many of the colorful songs on M.I.A.’s “Kala” album. Even if we might be waiting for a quite a while already on her album, it seems Christina’s got a lot of people helping her push forward.
And for our second XA Lounge story, we’ve got some more “Burlesque” news for you guys and girls: Casting apparently is underway for Christina’s love interest in the movie. He’ll be playing the bartender of the club Cher owns, and seems he wants to tend to more than just the customers’ needs. Who this actor is? No idea yet, but be sure to check out our thread and post your picks. And, feel free to add some nice photos, give the girls something nice to look at amongst all that Christina beauty.

Up next we’ve got Picture lounge now, and sad to say not a lot has been happening there this week. Christina seems to have been cocooning a lot lately, but we’re hoping to see her out and about pretty soon again. What I do have for you is a new picture of her Ellen Von Unwerth KGB photo shoot. That’s “Keeps Gettin’ Better” for the ones who aren’t familiar with that acronym, I can assure you Christina is not working for the Russian secret service. Unless they started spying with brightly-colored balloons of course.
And last but not least a more sad moment I’d like to spend some time on, with the shocking news that reached and undoubtedly touched us all, of Michael Jackson’s early death. He left behind an incredible legacy in music and moves, and will surely be missed. Many reactions have come in, also in the thread made in his honor here at our Celebrity lounge. So honor him also the best way possible: By hitting that play button, Beat It like a Thriller, look at the Man in the Mirror while seeing Dirty Diana staring back at you. And remember him not for the weirdness he could be, the butt of jokes, but the earth-shattering run he’s had over the past decades.

Not like clockwork, but always there; Your weekly forum update - 01:21AM EST - century
What’s up everyone, I’m back again with some more forum headlines for you.

And you know the score, Everything Christina comes first, so here’s the new news from Xtina lounge: Trustworthy film website Variety confirms Cher will indeed be playing in Christina’s movie “Burlesque”, as a club owner who’s struggling and gives our girl a chance to shine. Whether or not Christina will sing any note in this film has yet to be confirmed, but Variety does claim Cher will be showing off her vocal skills. Let’s hope this doesn’t mean Christina will be the Sonny to Cher’s, well.. Cher. Apparently production for this movie is also supposed to start in November, and that’s where the bad news comes in.
Because unfortunately a reliable source has mentioned in our official album thread that Christina’s new album might still be set for a November release, but could very likely only see the light of day early 2010. Which would, well, suck big time of course. But it’s still not official word, so I suggest we all pray she gets her butt into gear. Meanwhile other news came out that Christina has never heard of what has become our biggest source of unofficial news, namely Twitter. I do hope that could only mean she’s too busy working on her album to notice, at least that’s what I and many other people are hoping for. Either that, or “naked Sundays” got turned into naked Everydays.

Moving on to something more happier which should turn that frown upside down: Christina and Max visited Disneyland a while ago, and a pic of that has finally surfaced. But if you thought Mickey, Minnie and Max were cute, wait until you see pictures of mommy and Max visiting some sort of paint & pottery class were Max made some nice things for papa Jordan. If you ever wanted to know what an “oskee” looks like, this is your one and only chance. And, if you ever dreamed to know what Taylor Swift and Christina’s love-child would look like, be sure to also check out this bizarre OOAK doll. No matter how much Xtina changes her looks, she’ll never look like that so nice try guys.
And now for something completely different, in Monty Python’s own words: Lady Gaga owned the Much Music awards in Canada by performing in an exploding, metallic bustier. Yes, you read that right, flaming boobies for an on-looking audience of many, plus the Jonas brothers. No word yet whether one of the JoBro’s accidently got their hair scorched, and if so, which one. Speaking of them though, in another thread you can listen to Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus’ new duet, titled “Before the Storm”. Little did anyone of them knew it was gonna be a firestorm emanating from Gaga’s boobies. Now there’s a sentence you don’t read every day.

Hello once again everybody, it’s time for your weekly update.

Starting as always in Xtina lounge, where we can offer you a closer and detailed look at the bottle for Christina’s new “By Night” perfume. I already showed you some on-the-scene pictures of her holding it last week, but this one is the official picture that got released, and also proves the theory many people on the forum had, as it being a continuation of her “Christina Aguilera” perfume. Because as you’ll also be able to see in our official perfume thread, the resemblance between the two bottles is striking.
Continuing now to another bit of news about our favorite chanteuse, she’s giving you the chance to not only hear her wonderful songs, but also the ones she herself finds easy on the ears. In a deal with Clear Channel Radio, Christina will assemble her own 24 hour program, providing certain sound-bites and of course clips from her most favorite artists. Moving on now to picture thread, there’s some more goodies for you as far as her perfume goes. Some screencaps of the new commercial intended to promote her new fragrance got posted there, and reveal a very sultry, classical Christina in black-and-white stills. The whole vibe has a very distinct old-fashioned glam-feel to it, and though some of you may want her to ditch the whole Marilyn persona already, she still looks very gorgeous sporting it.
And though I know everyone is becoming Mariah-crazy these days with the premiere of her new single “Obsessed”, I’d also like to invite you to take a closer peek at some dolls. Pussycat Dolls that is, as one of our members (hey sweetie!) opened a thread in honor of the luscious PCD squad, listing and providing links to a bevy of their released work. And if you simply want to look and not hear, don’t worry, there’s some lovely pictures included as well that should get you visually stimulated. You can even vote for your favorite doll as well, after closely examining them, naturally.
