Happy Holidays to our lovely CMM Community!
It's that special time of year for many here and we have chosen "Baby" as our newsletter theme.
Whether you do or don't celebrate the birth of Jesus; we can all at least be united in celebrating the birth of Christina & Jordan's baby son, Max Liron Bratman. I can hardly believe he is almost one year old! How time flies. Max is so adorable and it won't be long now until he starts crawling and getting up to some real mischief, hehe.
Don't forget that it will also be CMM's 7th Anniversary in the New Year...we hope you will stick around and help us celebrate! Thank you very much for all of you who have contributed their time and/or money to help keep CMM one of the biggest and most popular fansites for Christina! Please don't think that it is ever under-appreciated... it isn't! CMM's debt has continued to increase and it is a worrying situation as the current figure is -$2,500. If you haven't yet contributed to CMM's master server, please consider doing so.
CMM wishes everyone a happy holiday and an awesome 2009! Of course, next year we can look forward to a new world tour from Christina - exciting times ahead!
Have fun and see you all in the New Year.
Ju x

CMM: A 7 Year Old Baby that Keeps Getting Better By Corey8296, CMM Editorial Editor
Whether it’s celebrating the birthday of Max Liron Bratman or the new sound from Christina, it’s a great time to be part of the CMM community.
Reminding us she gets bored easily, this new electro-pop era will be different from anything we’ve heard/seen from Christina before. She also says she wants more kids. Between the new album and world tour, 2009 will be one for the record books. People have mixed feelings about the recent performances, but what I like about the Keeps Getting Better promo is how action packed it is. It’s really an ode to the “old” Christina and the birth of a new direction. Like Madonna, Christina has made it clear she likes to reinvent herself every album, but this is the first time we get an official preview long before the album drops.
There is also a generation shift going on. Ten years later, those of us who were around during the debut album are older and in different places in our lives now. It’s also exciting to see new fans (who were babies back then) begin to discover Christina and her talent.
This new year will be one full of surprises and excitement. If you’re not involved already, please think about joining the CMM team before the new album arrives. Our “baby” is almost 7 years old and continues to be one of the most comprehensive fan sites out there.

Learn More About Babies! By Jaz, CMM Random Facts Editor
Babies are cute and adorable. Well, not all of them...but probably most of them. For this edition of Random Facts, I gathered some weird, interesting, and unbelievable facts about babies that you probably didn't know before.
Babies are born with 300 bones, but by adult we have only 206 in our bodies due to some bones fuse together later.
The world's oldest woman to give birth to date is an Indian woman named Rajo Devi. She got married for 50 years before she finally gave a birth to a baby girl on November 28, 2008.
Babies are born with swimming abilities and can naturally hold their breath. However, they shortly lose this instinct.
The more stimulates your babies are getting, the bigger the chance for their brain to increase, which can also affect their learning experience in the future.
Babies gradually develop a preference for the sounds of their native tongue.
Babies who hear lots of words will understand more words and perhaps begin to speak sooner.
The earlier babies are exposed to reading, the better they perform in school.
Whether a baby will be left or right-handed is decided as early as 10 weeks gestation. Researchers found that babies in the womb favour one hand over the other starting that period of time, and they'll prefer to use the same side of hand later in their life.
Eating fish during pregnancy can boost babies' brain development and give them better communication and language skills.
The father's sperm will decide the sex of your baby. The mother's eggs contain only a female or X chromosome, but a man's contains either an X (which makes a girl) or Y chromosome (which makes a boy). Whichever one reaches the egg first and fertilises it will determine the sex.
A baby is born every seven seconds. Babies are born with very poor vision but can recognize their mothers almost right away.
Hopefully you learn a couple new things from the facts I listed!
"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will" ~ by Vince Lombardi.
Keep learning!

Baby Love By Kirsten, CMM Beauty & Style Editor
Christina’s little son, Max, is almost one year old now! My sister gave birth to her first child, also a son, in 2008. The little baby is like the most important thing since he was born, everyone in the family cares so much about him and spoils him. So I understand what Christina Aguilera is going through, even though I am not a mother myself.
Last week I had to buy some clothes for the baby. That wasn’t easy. The prices are really different, you could get a t-shirt for 7 euro, but there were also ones from over 30 euro - and they didn’t even sell 'designer' clothes at the store for this price. Then my question was: is there a difference in quality? Well I don’t think so. There might be a little difference but not 'that' big to make the prices so varied. Of course, the cheapest clothes are sold the most. After all, a baby can only wear a t-shirt or pants/trousers for three months or so. Believe me, they grow pretty fast! So why would you buy all those expensive things? What is also fun for children is to make some clothes yourself. You can buy a simple t-shirt that is cheap and go to a printshop where you can put a picture or text on the shirt. It is fun and original.
I hope I gave you some tips, for parents or parents-to-be, or like me - a cool aunt! 8)
Happy Holidays everyone!

A Star is Born By Rachael, CMM Flashback Editor
On January 12th, 2008, Aguilera gave birth to her first child, Max Liron Bratman. But before Max came along; we got to see Christina in a photoshoot unlike any she had done before. December’s Marie Claire issue featured a very pregnant and very nude Christina on their front cover. The article itself let the world into Christina’s most vulnerable and intimate thoughts on becoming a mother. “We were planning on starting to try after the tour and so I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn’t know how much time it would take. You’ve heard it takes some time - except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here ... I’m like, Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?” said Aguilera.
Christina went on to talk about her sexuality which was apparent just by the photo shoot. Although some may have seen it as another naked shoot, many saw the unique difference in these photos. They were soft, pure happiness. It reflected a woman in her most natural and beautiful form, pregnant and tastefully nude. Christina says that expanding her family is certainly somewhere in the future but for now she is very happy with her son Max who now is almost a year old and her loving husband Jordan by her side.

Choosing the right name for your baby By Juan Ma, CMM Oracle Editor
Did you know there’s a big influence on a new life that depends on the name you put to the baby? There’s a ‘science’ that studies the influence of names, and it’s called ‘onomancy’.
Egyptians, for example, didn’t choose the names for their babies; once they were born, they saw the spirit qualities and along with the greater beings they picked a name that was suppose to mean their soul’s vibrations.
The Aztecs used to ask to the “Guardians of the Days” about the destiny of their babies, and those people didn’t only say their fate, but they also picked the name. Jewish used to do something alike.
Through a name we can find: 1. A deep wish. 2. A personality. 3. A destiny.
For example, ‘Christina’ means a person that is worried of her environment, really stuck to traditions and someone that had a hard life, but with an end full of success. ‘Max’ stands for a person who wants to stand out and rather make the world for their own and not fitting in it as we all usually do.
So, whenever you’re planning to have a baby check out the meaning of the names and make sure you’re putting him/her the best name, because that will influence on their lives for sure. You might also want to go online and check onomancy web pages, so you can figure out the meaning of your name and your mission in this life.
So long!

Knocked Up By Holly, Movie Screen Editor
Not everyone plans to have a baby - sometimes babies just happen. Well, it’s a little more complicated than that but even when having a baby is not planned it can change your life for the better.
This is the lesson learned in the movie, “Knocked Up”. Seth Rogan stars in this movie as an immature man named Ben Stone. One night, he meets a woman named Alison Scott (played by Katherine Heigl) and although her life is the complete opposite of Ben’s, both of their lives are completely changed when soon after she finds out she is pregnant with his child.
Throughout the movie they discuss how they are going to deal with the pregnancy and the different options they have. Hilarity incurs as Ben tries to come to grips with the realization that he will be a dad. At the same time, Ben and Alison try and decide if they want to have a relationship. They try and get along with each other even though they are complete opposites and probably would have never met up again if Alison hadn’t become pregnant.
Seth Rogan is a real up-and-comer in the movie industry, and after this movie came out his career has really sky-rocketed with movies like, “Super Bad” and “Pineapple Express”. While most of the movies he stars in may be targeted at men, “Knocked Up” has been a great hit with woman and men. If you haven’t seen this movie it should be a must in your list of movies to watch!
