| The Voice’ Coaches Goof Off on Rolling Stone Cover - Feb 01, 2012 | The second season of ‘The Voice‘ kicks off on Feb. 5, right after the Super Bowl. After year of high ratings, press, promotion, hype and hanging out while seated in high-backed red space chairs, the coaches have come together for round two and they are celebrating with a Rolling Stone cover.
Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton pose for the cover, but it’s not really posed. It looks like the cameras caught them goofing around on set. That’s how natural and genuine the affinity and respect among these constantly sparring coaches is. It’s a far cry from “feels scripte... |

| The (friendly) battle of the sexes that drives 'The Voice,' TV's most exciting m - Feb 01, 2012 | At its heart, The Voice is a game show, and the most essential rules that guide its coaches are unspoken: Try not to wince when blind auditions trick you into picking an unsightly singer; always declare it "heartbreaking" to choose the winner of a vocal battle, no matter how easy the decision actually is; and most importantly, never, ever interrupt Christina Aguilera when she is speaking.
One late afternoon in a quiet backroom of a Los Angeles photo studio, Aguilera is curled up, barefoot, on a white couch next to fellow coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. She's sipping an iced c... |

| That embarrassing Christina Aguilera photo that has everyone talking-cringing - Jan 31, 2012 | Christina Aguilera‘s life in the public eye is starting to play out like every possible nightmare scenario of every kid in high school, isn’t it? She went through a questionable fashion phase, constantly vied for the spotlight against her rival, messed up the national anthem during a big game, fell down in front of everyone, endured a painful split, was picked on for her weight, and then got in, like, so much trouble. And while Aguilera has graduated to full-fledged adult, the nightmare still hasn’t ended there, seeing as life is one endless loop of high school hell. (No one tells you that, k... |

Just don't expect to see a slew of bad singers.
"We all told them we're not signing up for this show if it's about ridiculing someone or mocking talent," Aguilera told reporters this month.
