OUTRAGEOUS Christina Aguilera has ditched her sexy outfits and turned all girl-next-door.
The Dirrty singer stunned fans by appearing on a US chat show in a sophisticated suit, complete with understated make-up and glossy curls.
The blow-dried 70s look was a million miles from the raunchy cowboy-style chaps and micro-minis the 22--year-old singer, who has sold 20million albums, is famous for.
She raised eyebrows when she hosted the MTV Europe Awards in Edinburgh last year with a series of ostentatious costume changes.
As the curtain went up, she made her entrance as a nun, before ripping off her habit to reveal a skimpy top and leather chaps. Later, she drew gasps from the audience in a white cardboard basque.
Even other stars have mocked her dress sense.
Kelly Osbourne branded her 'disgusting' and said: 'I've seen drag queens look better.'
Christina unveiled her new image on The Ellen Degeneres Show in LA on Friday.
The radical change mirrors that of singer Kylie Minogue, who vowed to trade in her hot pants and skimpy outfits for a more classy look. |
