The pop siren briefly met with fans at a Mumbai hotel before heading off to the opulent Sahara Lake City resort, a specially constructed hilltop community on the outskirts of the city sporting four man-made lakes, golf courses and several nightclubs. "India has always captured my imagination with its myriad cultures and spiritualism," Aguilera said. "I'm very glad to come here. It is a beautiful country and I'm enjoying every bit of it."

"I'm an old lady. I don't need to seem cool and interesting and crazy and on the edge." Julia Roberts Born to be mild Julia Roberts' new twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, may wail at times, but their taste in music is sure to be mellow. The toothy actress relaxed during her pregnancy by singing Joni Mitchell and Dave Matthews songs to her unborn babes, reports People.
When she wasn't crooning to the twins, Roberts says, she was eating "nearly without pause" and reveling in household chores, including scrubbing toilets (until her "enormous" tummy made it difficult to kneel). Not so glamorous a picture of the "Pretty Woman."
"I'm an old lady," Roberts told the mag a few days before giving birth. "I don't need to seem cool and interesting and crazy and on the edge."
Seeking enlightenment
In search of inspiration for her latest album, Christina Aguilera has journeyed to India, Hellomagazine.com reported.

Sending a message
The three major TV networks have banned the United Church of Christ's first national ad - a message on behalf of tolerance - because it's "too controversial."
The ad depicts two bouncers behind a velvet rope at the front of a church, turning away visitors - including gay couples - like doormen at a nightclub. The 30-second spot ends with the slogan "Jesus didn't turn people away. Neither do we."
"We're totally surprised and shocked," the church's rep Barbara Powell told the New York Daily News. "We think that showing that we share Jesus' extraordinary welcome to all people is a positive message."
CBS explained: "Because this commercial touches on the exclusion of gay couples and other minority groups by other individuals and organizations ... this spot is unacceptable for broadcast." The ad has been accepted by Fox, AMC, BET, Discovery, TBS, TNT and others.
Usher at the movies
Now that Usher has conquered the world of hip-hop, he's set his sights on the silver screen again.
The "Confessions" crooner has signed to star in Lion's Gate's "Dying for Dolly," a drama about a Mafia don whose bodyguard (Usher) falls in love with his daughter.
Usher has also long been in talks with MGM to star in and produce "Step in the Name of Love," an urban "Saturday Night Fever" knockoff.
With the blinding success of his recent albums, fans might have forgotten his cameos in such late-'90s stinkers as "She's All That" and "The Faculty."
