| Wishin' On A Star - Oct 1999 | At just 18, Christina Aguilera is already a number-one singing sensation! So how did she make her wish come true?
Q: Your new single, Genie In A Bottle, was a number one in the US. What's it about? A: Well, in the past, a genie has always been portrayed as a slave for a man. But in my song, we've changed it around. It's like 'I'm not coming out of my bottle until you do what I want!' I make the wishes come true, too.
Q: Do you remember wishing you could be a star? A: Oh, yeah! At ten-years-old, I wished so hard to be famous. I made lots of wishes about boys, too. I'd say, 'This year, let tha... |

| United States of Aguilera - Oct 1999 | Roll over Britney. Classmate Christina Aguilera’s already conquered America. Now she’s about to conquer us.
