 Spears snubbed Christina Aguilera when the outrageous star tried to end their long-running feud.
The 'Dirrty' singer, who has known Britney since they starred on 'The Mickey Mouse Club' when they were kids, wrote a heartfelt letter to her long-time rival in a bid to rekindle their friendship.
But Britney has failed to respond, much to Christina's puzzlement.
Christina revealed to Britain's Glamour magazine: "The press contorted my words and maybe they did the same to hers. So I wrote to her saying, 'There's no need for this. We did have a friendship once. Let's not get caught up in the tabloids and have this craziness forced upon us.'
"I went on to tell her that I have great admiration for her work and to hang in there. I don't know why I haven't had a response."
But although Christina is anxious to bury the hatchet with Britney, she is in no hurry to end her bitter feud with Kelly Osbourne.
She fumed: "Well, she was very open about her dislike for me on national television. I'd never even met her. When I bumped into her in a club, I asked her, 'Why do you have to talk s*** about me? Just say it to my face.'" |
