X-Tina Refund WoesJun 22, 2004
by Scott Fineout

Fans who stopped by fansrule.com to purchase their concert tickets for the Christina Aguilera concert found out two things recently, the fans don’t rule on the website, and the company has no plans on making them. Ticket broker fansrule.com recently released word that they were not paying people refund money back because they couldn’t. The company recently filed for Chapter 11, leaving many fans more than angry at the situation.

Fans who went to fansrule.com to check on their status received the news in a simple paragraph. "What should be made clear is that the inability to refund payments made for tickets is in no way the fault of Christina Aguilera. We understand that this puts a great many of you in a difficult situation, and are hopeful for a speedy resolution to this problem," according to the statement on fansrule.com

Meanwhile, even though she has canceled her tour, the 23-year-old beauty isn’t ready to give up on her fans like that. Aguilera and her management team Azoff Music Management released word that they had originally expected fansrule.com to refund money by May 31. Azoff also said that they are actively and aggressively pursuing fansrule.com so that fans can get their money back.
