Christina Aguilera is to open the Harrods sale next week.
According to today's Daily Mirror she will pick up £200,000 for two hours work.
The paper reports that the 23-year old singer, set to follow in the footsteps of Pierce Brosnan, Sophia Loren and Victoria Beckham by opening the Knightsbridge store's summer sale, has also listed an outrageous list of demands.
These include a private jet, five-star accommodation and non-vintage Veuve Clicquot champagne.
A spokesperson for Harrods' owner, Mohammed Al Fayed, said: "We've had huge names opening the sale over the years but none as contemporary as Ms Aguilera.
"We're absolutely delighted she was able to accept Mr Fayed's personal invitation to open the summer sale."
Aguilera, whose last album, "Stripped", has sold 10 million copies worldwide, can currently be seen advertising Virgin mobiles on British TV. |
