London's Mirror reports that while singer Christina Aguilera now favors a squeaky-clean fashion look, she still has a thing for filthy lucre. Xtina scored nearly $400,000 for opening next week's Harrods summer sale, with duties that include cutting a ribbon, making a little speech and breakfasting with company execs. But sometimes, massive amounts of cash for a couple of hours work are not enough. That's why Aguilera has reportedly asked for a deep discount at the tony department store--as well as a few other perks, including a private jet to and from London and lodging in a five-star luxury penthouse stocked with several bottles of vodka, champagne and room-temperature bottled water. It's a deal that's beautiful, no matter what they say. |
