Pop tart Christina Aguilera is performing in Pittsburgh next month even though she ditched her summer tour because of throat problems.
The Wexford native will appear July 10 at Elements, a party at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center that's set to last from 10:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
The party also will include performances by Kevin Aviance, Jason Walker and Amber. Area nightclubs also will host pre-parties before the event:
July 6, Sports Rock Cafe, 1400 Smallman St., Strip District.
July 7, Touch nightclub, 1408 Smallman St., Strip District.
July 8, Tequila Willies, 1501 Smallman St., Strip District.
July 9, Eagle, 1740 Eckert St., North Side.
July 9, Matrix, Station Square.
