 Pop diva Christina Aguilera wowed Italian fashionistas on Tuesday when she took to the catwalk at Milan Menswear Week. The 23-year-old hit the runway for DSquared2 in a thigh-skimming backless mini-dress and impossibly high-heels.
Christina has been friendly with the label's twin designers, Dean and Dan Caten, since they created costumes for her world tour last year. So it made sense to team up with them again when she decided to make her catwalk debut.
The chanteuse had just landed in Milan after opening the Harrods summer sale in London. And fans would be forgiven for being surprised by her risqué appearance, given that she previously declared she was turning her back on her raunchy image.
But old habits are hard to break, and the singer looked to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she camped it up on the runway. She even spanked one male model, who looked distinctly vulnerable in only a pair of blue speedos.
The diminutive star's promised change of image is expected to come with her next assault on the charts. Never one to rest on her laurels, Christina is currently working on not one, but two new albums.
"I've been writing and recording and putting my heart and soul into this vision that I have for the next album," she reveals. "And I'm also working on my next Spanish album." |
