Summary:
Christina Aguilera caused a kerfuffle yesterday (Monday) when she turned up to launch Harrod's summer sale. |
The star pulled up outside the store in a horse-drawn carriage and started blowing kisses Marilyn Monroe-style to some builders who were watching from a nearby site.
Then she went on a tour of the building followed by a pipe band, a squad of harassed bouncers and a huge pack of paparazzi and television crews.
Christina's in a pretty saucy advert for a mobile phone at the moment and told Radio 1 why she did it:
"I thought it was very tongue in cheek and very funny and cute and nothing to be taken seriously."
"I like to keep things light and fun and poke fun at everyone taking sexuality so seriously."
"I think it's fun to take the p*** out of everybody sometimes." |
