Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera might think that Stacie Orrico is ‘Stuck-up’ when they find out what the singer said about her peers.
At the recent MTV Asia Awards in Singapore, Stacie flat out said she thinks Brit and Xtina are bad role models because of their “degrading” clothing and behavior. Ouch! Don’t be shy, Stacie, what do you really think?
The whole thing came up when Janet Jackson was mentioned (Stacie scolded JJ, too). Stacie’s point is that she feels singers should be good examples for young fans, a valid point to make – we just wish she’d made it without knocking Britney and Christina, since they’re both very talented and their fame makes them easy targets.

(P.S. At the same event, Mariah Carey told reporters she had been scared to go to Singapore because of the bird flu… but Singapore hadn’t had any cases yet. Major wing-in-the-mouth, Mariah!) |
