Christina Aguilera shows blondes DO have more fun.
The tiny pop singer did her best Marilyn Monroe impression as she opened the Harrods summer sale.
She arrived yesterday at the posh Knightsbridge store on a horse-drawn carriage looking every inch like the screen sex siren.
And she stopped to try on a £37,600 Piaget 18-carat white gold necklace set with diamonds – reduced to £18,000 – then walked round the store with it on.
But guards had to whisk her away when she was mobbed by fans. Christina, 23, wants to be a film star. And she explained the Marilyn look by saying she’s exploring the music and art of the last century. She said: “It’s very exciting and will be an image change.”
”It’s that whole world of glamour and Hollywood and stars like Mariene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe.”
And she ended up bagging herself a real bargain – a rumored £200,000 cheque for just a few minutes’ work. |
