| Chisholm Slams "Too Sexy" Spears - Mar 21, 2005 | British singer MELANIE CHISHOLM is shocked by how much more sexual pop music has become since THE SPICE GIRLS split.
The all-conquering girl group openly used sexuality to sell records - but they never stripped, and stayed clean enough to be appropriate for younger audiences.
But the former SPORTY SPICE feels this unwritten rule no longer applies to artists such as BRITNEY SPEARS and CHRISTINA AGUILERA.
She says, "Britney's gone a bit too far. I find it really shocking , she's overtly sexual in everything she does. I see her and I think, 'Put it away love.'"... |

| Businessman to sue pop diva - Mar 21, 2005 | A businessman is suing pop diva Christina Aguilera, saying comments by the controversial star scuppered his multi-million pound clothing contract.
Karl Hickey struck the deal with the star to manufacture and market a high street clothing label – due to be launched in June – after more than a year of negotiations. But when the chart-topping singer was reported to have branded celebrity labels "tacky" at an Oscar bash, Mr Hickey's company, Basic Box clothing, ended the contract and is set to sue her for several million dollars.
The star was widely reported as calling celebrity cloth... |

| Leave testosterone to men - Mar 21, 2005 | Women risking their health as pressure grows to be more sexual, says Lise Cloutier-Steele
Last Sunday, I watched the movie Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson and Hugh Grant. During the ballroom dance event, I wondered what the people of those days would have thought of the likes of Christina Aguilera groping herself as she belted out a tune, or Janet Jackson pulling a wardrobe malfunction stunt. Some would have been mortified, I'm sure.
I couldn't help but compare that society to ours. Back then people were so much more polite and reserved when it came to sex and sexual conduct. These ... |

| Dirty dozen done - Mar 21, 2005 | The Dirty Dozen Tour lived up to its nasty name all right, just like Christina Aguilera's Dirty video - you know, the steamy bit where the sexy songstress wags her backside in the chaps and red panties. This just wasn't as easy on the eyes, or the Road Runners' playoff aspirations.

| Put a rock in it, Aggy! - Mar 21, 2005 | Sounds like Christina Aguilera's been getting competitive with old rival Britney Spears again - this time it's over who has the best engagement ring!
According to US reports, Aggy was given a smaller rock by fiance Jordan Bratman in January, but traded it for a bigger one to match britney's impressive five-carat sparkler! If you ask us, she's just acting like a spoilt Bratman!... |

| The jealous jester - Mar 21, 2005 | Robbie Williams took a swipe at a few stars in his autobiography, 'Feel'. "She looks like a cross between someone you see in a gay club at six in the morning, and someone who's trying to save trees," was his opinion of Christina Aguilera. And Cameron Diaz wasn't immune from his bitchiness either - he compared her to Zippy, a mouthy character from ancient kids' show 'Rainbow'!
So what do Cammie and Christina have in common? Well, both of them are mega successful stars in America, a country that Robbie has failed to become famous in. Do we detect a touch of sour grapes from the Robste... |

| Christina went from trashy and flashy to elegant and demure. All it took was the - Mar 21, 2005 | Christina erased her bubblegum pop image by donning shockingly outrageous ensembles (think corsets, rubber, and visible panties). "Jordan makes jokes about how I change my looks," she said.... |

| Knock Kneed - Mar 22, 2005 | WE had no idea that Brooke Kinsella and Christina Aguilera had got religion. Well, how else could their knees get so bruised?
Brooke and Christina both showed off marks on their legs as they hit the town over the weekend.
Ex-EastEnder Brooke, 21, flaunted hers at the launch of the Gizmondo gadget at London's Park Lane Hotel, while Xtina, 24, was seen leaving an LA restaurant with fiance Jordan Bratman.
An onlooker said: "Anyone who asked was told that Christina had fallen over the day before".

| Knees-up for Aggie - Mar 22, 2005 | Obviously, Christina Aguilera hasn't learned that wearing high stiletto heels will increase the chances of her falling over. Why else would the "Dirrty" 24-year-old singer have sported a pair just for 24 hours after she tripped and was sent crashing on a Los Angeles street?
You'd thought that she would have got the message.
But Aggie - who shot to fame in 1999 with her smash hit Genie In A Bottle - did look lovely as she hit the town with her fiance Jordan Bratman, 26.
The pair, who seem to enjoy the party scene that Hollywood has to offer, nipped out for a quick meal before head... |

| Guess Who Looks Brit Rough Now? - Mar 22, 2005 | My, how the tables have turned for Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.
Just three years ago it was Britney who was considered the better looking, more successful of the two pop stars.
Now Christina has eclipsed her rival, swapping her grunge look for Fifties Hollywood glamour.
Christina, (see picture) on a night out in Hollywood, looks chic and sexy with short blonde crop and cute outfit.
Meanwhile, Britney looks in need of a good wash and the services of a decent stylist as she slums it at her dad's restaurant on LA's Venice Beach, (see picture).
Never mind, Brit. If you ever fall on ... |

| Taking Cover - Mar 23, 2005 | I love karaoke. I've been known to occasionally grab a microphone and sing a little David Bowie or Neil Diamond or even Christina Aguilera (although I have to warn you, ''Dirrty'' is not an easy song, people). I love watching my friends do karaoke too. Heck, I even enjoy watching complete strangers howling their guts out over a cheesy synth track while desperately trying to follow words on a screen. (No, no. I'm not making fun of Constantine Maroulis. Not yet anyway.)
But as much as I love karaoke, there's one place I don't like seeing it performed — and that's on American Idol. In my mind, t... |

| 'American Idol' Recap: Carrie's Performance Was Hot, Nadia's Mohawk Was Not - Mar 23, 2005 | March 22 — Theme: Billboard #1 singles
Surprise performance: Is that Carrie Underwood or Christina Aguilera? Carrie came out smokin', and her performance of Heart's "Alone" was just as hot.
Fashion hits and misses: Hello Captain Obvious: Nadia's Mohawk has to go down in "Idol" history as the worst hair misstep ever. It's a nice idea in theory, doing the whole Cyndi Lauper funky-hair thing, but it just didn't work. Jessica's half-see-through unflattering top comes in a close second, and Nikko's coat looked plain silly. Thankfully there was Carrie.

Not that I didn’t enjoy The Vagina Monologues, Eve Ensler’s barnstorming, award-winning one-woman show. Nonetheless, at the gym a couple of weeks ago, I almost fell off my treadmill when I saw a woman in a T-shirt with a line from the play — MY VAGINA IS ANGRY — happily bobbing up and down on an elliptical trainer.
