| How to be sexy by Christina Aguilera - Jun 2006 | Whatever look she's working, Christina Aguilera's style and attitude ensure she's always gorgeous. Here, the dirrty girl shares her secrets...
1 Break out from the mould. When Christina appeared on the pop scene in 1999, she looked just like her chart rival Britney Spears. With blonde hair, baggy pants and crop tops, she was the clean cut girl next door. But it wasn't her. "I remember turnig up at a photo shoot and there was a clothing rack in front of me full of all kinds of floral and 'pretty' clothes," she says now. "And I was like, 'This is VERY not what I to be! It's n... |

| MTV Movie Awards Blue Carpet Gallery - Jun 2006 | I was so ecstatic to see that she has completely transformed herself from a vixen to a minx!
Looks like she got clean of piercings, fishnet bathing suits and raven black hair extensions.

| Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man - Jun 2006 | Rating: 4.5 out of 5
From the opening sax tones and vocal fanfare, we know we're in for a hot, funky ride. This is an invigorating, welcome return by Christina Aguilera. She has returned from some of the bewildering shifts in style of the album Stripped to a confident strut shamelessly showing off one of the most powerful set of pipes in the music business, and it's all in praise of her husband and life partner.

| Snap Judgment: Christina Aguilera's new video - Jun 2006 | Say what you want about Christina Aguilera's new single, "Ain't No Other Man" (although, frankly, you should just admit it's frackin' genius), but even haters are going to be hard-pressed to find fault with the accompanying video that got leaked on YouTube yesterday. (Click here to see if it's still up.)
The clip leaves the singer's men's-room-romping, chaps-sporting Xtina alter ego in the past, and reimagines her as jazz-club chanteuse Baby Jane, who rocks seven classy-sexy looks in just under five minutes, each more flawless than the one before it (especially that final silver dre... |

| MorleyView: Linda Perry - Jun 2006 | antiMUSIC: Unquestionably your most impressive success with somebody else was with Christina Aguilera. What was running through your mind when you were on stage with her playing "Beautiful" at the Grammies? Was there a part of you that was going that should be me over there singing that? That's my song.
Linda: No. The hard part about "Beautiful" is that it's so deeply personal. That song, I didn't mean to give it to Christina at all. In fact, the way it actually happened was the first time Christina came to my house for the very first time, because at the time I had a stu... |

| Snap Judgment: Christina Aguilera's new single! - Jun 01, 2006 | This may wind up being my last blog item of the afternoon, seeing that as soon as I finish posting it, I've got to shut my office door and engage in a little bit of light, Da Vinci Code-style corporal mortification. And what sin would require such a rousing bout of self-abuse, you might ask? Well, earlier this afternoon, I got my first earful of Christina Aguilera's new single, ''Ain't No Other Man,'' (check it out here) and my response was one of only mild enthusiasm, something along the lines of ''Hey, that's pretty good.''
Clearly, though, after two solid hours of repeated listening, I've ... |

| Christina's Hot New Summer Single - Jun 02, 2006 | The songs of summer are here, and this morning, I got my first listen.
Christina Aguilera premiered her new single "Ain't No Other Man" on radio stations across the country today. I was driving into work listening to Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show, KIIS-FM, when I heard it. And for those amongst you who have also heard it -- you probably already believe me when I say this: along with Rihanna's "S.O.S.," Mary J. Blige's "Be Without You" (listen to the Moto Blanco Mix of it!), Nelly Furtado's (feat. Timbaland) "Promiscuous," and inevitably, Beyon... |

| Christina Aguilera: "Ain't No Other Man" - Jun 06, 2006 | A lot of people scoffed at the potential of a DJ Premier/X-Tina hook-up. Jordan Bratman-hitching is proof-positive of her questionable taste, so the decision to let Primo work on some sample-delic jams for her new album was met simultaneously by aghast hip-hop heads and pop-freak fright. Obviously, it's a damn good song. Built on a familiar horn loop and a tick quicker rhythm than Premier is used to rolling with, Aguilera's often histrionic vocals are not just curtailed, limiting showboating, but sped-up. Her strident, rap-like tone dovetails wonderfully with the beat.

| Christina Aguilera "Ain't No Other Man" - Jun 08, 2006 | It's been a surefire recipe for a summer jam since 2003: Take a snippet of a '70s soul corker, twist it until it loops around on itself, then heat up the concoction with a spitfire vocal performance. (See also: "Crazy in Love," "1 Thing.") Hip-hop mastermind DJ Premier uses that plot to terrific effect on Christina Aguilera's new single, which leaked last week—"Ain't No Other Man" is so urgently amped, it makes poor Beyonce and Amerie seem like shy types who spend the hottest days of the year doing crosswords at the kitchen table. | They were once rival pop princesses but now their careers are going in completel - Jun 13, 2006 | It really wasn't so long ago when the two names, Christina and Britney, and all they encompassed -- talent, looks, personality, piercings, etc. -- could actually be stacked up and argued.
Today, there really isn't much debate going on, even as Christina Aguilera gets set to release a double CD later this summer and Britney Spears gets set to have another child.

| After the sweetness - Jun 18, 2006 | Young people get old. Being a sweet young pop star probably gets old, too. The racy new Nelly Furtado is on a path taken, with varying success, by many female pop stars before her.
Jewel, who once earnestly sang of kindness and saving your soul, in 2003 came out with "Intuition," a huge musical about-face. It derides selling out lyrically ("Sell your sin/ Just cash in") but musically was built for pop-radio play, while the satirical video critiqued empty glamour and racy images by giving us lots of both, including a closer look at her physique.

I like the video, but I think the definitive performance is still her powerful interpretation a few weeks ago at the MTV Movie Awards. It's still available for viewing on YouTube. And, while you are there, walk back down memory lane and check out the star-studde... |

While most men might want their wives to cover up, it seems music boss Jordan can't get enough of the singer's provocative style.
Christina, whose new single Ain't No Other Man is out next month - has become notorious for her barely-there outfits and her saucy songs, the epitome being Dirrty on 2002 album Stripped.
But she insists: "My husband is always there for me. He was there for me with Dirrty and we are going on four and a half years... |

| Christina's Saucy Outing In New York - Jun 22, 2006 | She might have gone through a more demure phase after her marriage last year, but Christina Aguilera seems to be back to her Dirrty girl form. The diva was sporting a red hot look as she arrived to film The Late Show With David Letterman in New York.
The blonde bombshell stepped out in skin-tight red pedal-pushers and a black shirt unbuttoned to reveal a leopard-print bra, as she made her way to the TV studios this week. Glamorous as ever in huge shades and toting a white Chanel handbag, the petite starlet showed no signs of reverting to the toned-down look she's adopted of late.

| Christina Aguilera Makes EW Party a Must - Jun 22, 2006 | New York, June 22, 2006 – "Entertainment Weekly" did it up big at its annual “Must List” party, featuring a performance by Christina Aguilera. The other hot songbird of the moment, Nelly Furtado, had everyone so entranced – and flashbulbs popping – that The Sopranos’ Steve Schirripa went virtually unnoticed as he followed her down the red carpet. “I have a better ass than Nelly Furtado”, Schirripa quipped, and turned and shook it for us. His daughters, Bria and Ciara, were duly mortified.
Robert Downey, Jr. got there late, around 11 PM, and told the screaming paparazzi to calm down... |

| Xtina Packs A Summer Punch Too - Jun 22, 2006 | Christina Aguilera is also riding high with her new song ''Ain't No Other Man.'' All it takes is one listen to reveal why it's another strong contender to be Song of Summer 2006. The funky horns, swaggering beats and Aguilera's celebratory attitude make the classic-styled R&B stomper the perfect genre-bending summer jam, along the lines of Beyonce's ''Crazy in Love'' from three years back. It's also an enticing preview of Aguilera's third album, Back to Basics, hitting stores August 15. Aguilera set out to revive and slightly modernize the sound of vintage jazz and soul from the greats tha... |

| Music Musings: Grammy Predictions (June 23, 2006) - Jun 23, 2006 | Article about Grammy nod predictions. Christina mentioned.
It may seem early to start talking about next year's Grammys, but there is only three months left in the eligibility period (which runs from October 2005 thru the end of September, 2006) and there are some early frontrunners worth noting right now.
"Hips Don't Lie"-Shakira's infectious, Latin-inflected duet with Wyclef Jean--seems like a shoo-in for a Record of the Year nomination (the category honors performance while Song of the Year is awarded for songwriting). It may not be groundbreaking-but it sure is catchy which has... |

| Divas duking it out this season on charts - Jun 27, 2006 | Get ready for diva warfare on the radio this summer, as Beyonce, Janet Jackson and Jessica Simpson scramble into the ring next to early arrivals Christina Aguilera and Shakira.
Beyonce’s new single “Deja Vu” (Sony Urban/Columbia) doesn’t club you over the head with its hotness the way “Crazy in Love” did. This one’s smoother, with a jazzier vocal take over the Stevie Wonder-soul horns and the midtempo groove. Then Jay-Z drops a couple of hot verses (“I don’t make the list, don’t be mad at me/I just make the hits, like a factory”) and knocks it out of the park.
Jackson’s new single “Call on M... |

| Beyoncé, Aguilera, Jackson, Simpson and Jewel: Seeking Another Turn in the Spotl - Jun 29, 2006 | By accident or by design, it's comeback season on the pop charts. Which means that right now five A-list (or formerly A-list) pop stars are clamoring for our attention. They are, in the order their pleas were quoted, Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Janet Jackson and Jewel. And they are, all of them, telling us how much they missed us, in hopes that we'll tell them the same thing.
For Beyoncé and Ms. Aguilera, both of whom are returning after hit albums, the task is simple: they just have to prove they can still do what they did last time. That explains "Deja Vu" (Colum... |

| Scott Storch's Outrageous Fortune - Jun 29, 2006 | An article on Scott Storch. He mentions Christina.
"I worked with Beyoncé on her last album," Storch says. "I wasn't invited to the new album. I only delivered three hit records last time. But a lot of artists figure they want to try something different. Whatever. There's certain artists who are loyal and certain ones don't really care and don't give you the opportunity to follow through with them again. I'm insulted by a lot of the artists I delivered hits to."
Like who?
"Like Christina Aguilera." Storch made seven songs for her most recent album, Stripped, tw... |

| Christina Channels Marilyn Monroe For Intimate Album Cover - Jun 29, 2006 | Singer relaxes in bed on front of Back to Basics.
When Christina Aguilera started working on her bluesy, soulful follow-up to Stripped in February 2005, the singer was inspired not only by the sounds of the 1920s, '30s and '40s, but the look of those eras as well.
So when it came time to shoot the artwork for Back to Basics a year later, Aguilera knew exactly what she wanted.
"The glamour from those eras was so amazing as well [as the music], so I'm referencing Marlene Dietrich ... Marilyn [Monroe] ... Carole Lombard ... Greta Garbo, Veronica Lake, there's so many," Aguilera said ... |

| MUSIC COLUMN - THE BEAT: A swing, some misses - Jun 29, 2006 | Christina Aguilera "Ain't No Other Man"
From: "Back To Basics"
Due: Aug. 14
Since she's been gone, Aguilera's place as the pop tart who can sing has been severely threatened by Kelly Clarkson, whose grip on the charts isn't loosening anytime soon.
So now that Aguilera has reinvented herself as the anti-skank, crooning Billie Holiday songs and flaunting a waxy blonde mane and curve-hugging gowns, you had to wonder -- with a bit of worry -- what type of music she would concoct.
Her first example is a thick summertime jam full of funk and sass. It's still coated with that... |

| Xtina Fans Want a Refund! - Jun 29, 2006 | As Christina Aguilera returns to the music scene and tops the charts with her new single "Ain't No Other Man," fans are wondering when they'll get their money back for tickets they bought for her concerts in 2003 and 2004 that she canceled, blaming strained vocal chords.
FansRule, the company the pop diva hired to run her website and fan club, is said to be responsible for the lack of refund situation. FansRule is currently being run by a bankruptcy court since filing for Chapter 11 in November of 2003, and still owes fans refunds for the canceled shows.
