Christina Aguilera has reportedly pulled out of a deal with OK! magazine for the first photos of her new baby Max.
The singer was unhappy that the publication could not guarantee that she would have the cover to herself.
OK! published her wedding photos last year, but the issue did not fly off the stands and bosses are now reluctant to devote another cover to her.
MSNBC quotes an insider as saying: “The OK! wedding cover didn’t sell as well as they hoped, and even her recent Marie Claire cover underperformed, all things considered.
“Christina has an inflated sense of her own value and seems to expect an extortionate amount of money for these baby pictures...She hasn't proven to be a real seller."
It is also rumoured that Aguilera demanded that any magazine using her baby photos was banned from running pictures of Nicole Richie’s baby Harlow Winter.
A source said: “Christina can’t stand Nicole. Nothing would make her more upset than to see those two babies on the same cover, even if it wasn’t at the same time.”
An OK! spokesperson declined to comment on the claims. |

| Pages: [1] | Willow R.: When Christina was first engaged so was Nicole and they were hugging, jumping and laughing, I find it hard to believe that she would be saying all this. Her O.K. wedding coverage sold pretty good, good enough that the next week was the second edition, so I don't believe that either. There's too much of Britney fighting custody battle for her kids and herself and it's getting boring and annoying. They should give Christina the cover. It'll be nice to see something happy and sweet for once.
