 In 2009 Christina Aguilera seemed to slightly lose her way, stylistically speaking that is. After dropping out of the spotlight to spend time with her new hubby and their baby (she married Jordan Bratman in November of 2005 and gave birth to son Max on 12 of January 2008), Aguilera returned to the red carpet looking a bit like a Lady Gaga wannabe mixed with an old, not-so-chic version of herself. Sadly, it appeared that the 40s-inspired glamour girl we'd come to love was gone for good. Thankfully it seems the pixie-sized singer has once again found her fashion footing just in time for 2010.
Hosting a New Year's Eve bash with fellow yummy-mummy Nicole Richie (daughter Harlow was born 11 January 2008, followed by her son Sparrow on 9 September 2009) Aguilera looked simple and chic sporting a blunt platinum blonde bob and a black cocktail dress. For her part, Richie brought out the lustrous tones of her newly chocolate brown locks with a gold sequin dress.
While the beauty action on the red carpet was headline worthy, the co-hosts' behaviour inside the Las Vegas club was very low key. When they were younger, each star was known as a wild child and walking fashion disaster. Now, the duo are two of Hollywood's most fashionable and responsible young mums. Talk about a transformation! |
