CELEBRITY fans are set to get HAMMERED - when furniture used by a galaxy of stars is auctioned later this month.
Luxury Edinburgh hotel The Sheraton Grand is flogging chairs, couches and dressing tables that have been used by the likes of Sean Connery and Tony Blair.
The items will go under the hammer at McTear's in Glasgow on January 30 as the hotel gets a multi-million-pound refurb.
McTear's auctioneer Brain Clements said: "If furniture could talk then these pieces would certainly have a few tales to tell.
"People like the Black Eyed Peas, Vin Diesel, Kofi Annan, Christian Slater and Christina Aguilera have stayed in the Presidential Suites so each piece has been used by some of the highest profile figures on the planet.
"This is a great opportunity to pick up a piece of history." |
