 Christina Aguilera sported some serious new curves in LA on Saturday (above left), hinting at a surprising flux in weight over a short period of time. The singer was significantly slimmer as recently as June, and noticeably so compared to her January red carpet appearance at the Golden Globe Awards (above right).
"She now has a much curvier physique and fuller face, appearing to be the heaviest she's ever been, barring her pregnancy in 2008," writes The Daily Mail. Xtina is preparing for the November release of her film debut, 'Burlesque,' co-starring Cher, Eric Dane and Stanley Tucci.
An inside source told the Daily Mail: "It's bizarre Christina has put on so much weight as she's been doing lots of dancing and high energy work for 'Burlesque.' The whole movie is choreography and she was very active so I'm surprised she's piled on the pounds so quickly."
The British newspaper estimates the star, 29, has piled on "at least a stone," or more than 14 pounds, since being photographed at an LA Lakers game in June.
Aguilera, who married Jordan Bratman in 2002, gave birth to a son, Max, in 2008. She lost her baby weight remarkably quickly. |
