Eminem shocked the world with his controversial major-label debut album, 1999's The Slim Shady LP, but the first single from the forthcoming follow-up is sure to raise more than a few eyebrows. On "Christina," the Dr. Dre protege disses pop singer Christina Aguilera, saying that she is promiscuous, to put it nicely. The Detroit rapper goes on to say that he'd rather have sex with Jennifer Lopez than Aguilera, and even taunts Lopez's boyfriend, Sean "Puffy" Combs in the song. The Marshall Mathers LP is scheduled for release in either late May or early June.
Aguilera told LAUNCH recently that her sexuality is just part of being an entertainer and a performer. "You know, when I'm on stage, I do come across as a bit sexual sometimes -- in the way that I dance, maybe move my hips, or whatever -- but it's all about just being a performer and an entertainer to me, and my sexuality is a part of that," she said. |
