| Christina Scrabble-era - Aug 09, 2003 | You'd think that having a touring partner like Justin 'Let's Parrrrrtay!' Timberlake would get Christina Aguilera in the mood for some right rollicking rock 'n' rolling. But sadly that's not the case.
X-Tina's party spirit has gone off the boil if the Daily Mirror is anything to go by, and according to the tab, Christina likes nothing more than a night in the tourbus, playing Scrabble (note to the uninitiated - this does not involve champagne or troupes of well-muscled hunk boys).

| Idol Wild! - Aug 01, 2003 | It's been a while since we had a decent 'Xtina on the warpath' story, so we're very pleased to unveil the row that's going on between Ms Aguilera and the man who co-produced her mega-CD 'Stripped'.
It seems that Chrissy is super-irked with knob-twiddler Rhett Lawrence for taking a half-finished song they worked on for the 'Stripped' sessions and finishing it off with Kelly Clarkson, the winner of the US version of Pop Idol.
Kelly's song 'Miss Independant' was a big hit in America, but that hasn't calmed Christina down one jot. She told the Mirror: "I don't blame Kelly, the song is a go... |

In all fairness, X Tina's black mood was all in the name of caring for the environment. Justin got his saucy new moniker from the British tabloids, and Christina picked up on it during a joint interview with E! Online. She joked about his new name to the show's presenters, but was quick to point out a serious point to the jokes.

That, at least, was the gist of comments made by her personal trainer, Ashley Borden, this week.

| CNN "Stripped" Review - Nov 06, 2002 | Music review: 'Stripped' Christina Aguilera (RCA)
She may be 21 now, but Christina Aguilera seems to be playing dress-up on the follow-up to her 8 million-selling 1999 debut. On this sprawling set, the singer tries on pop-rock, hip hop, R&B, Latin, heavy metal, jazz, gospel, even a bit of classical.
In attempting to be all things to all people, though, Aguilera fails to bare her own personality on "Stripped." (Overly long at nearly 78 minutes, the disc could have also used some major paring down.)
Even so, give Aguilera points for stretching out from her teen-pop past, alth... |

| Mandy Moore's Nonblond Ambition - Jul 2003 | | Mandy Moore released her first record, "So Real," in 1999, the world was a blonder place. Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera led the field of cheerily debased female teenage video superstars. And even the Oval Office scandals of the time had the light, bouncy rhythms of a blond cable sitcom — "Sex and the Nation's Capital" — although admittedly one that, being the result of reality and not casting, starred a brunette. |

| Nylon Magazine Article - Jul 2003 | Christina Aguilera has freckles. You probably never knew this, because she covers them with makeup. "I'm glad you didn't notice them," she says, smiling and gazing into her merlot in a Beverly Hills hotel bar. "I never really like my freckles to show—it's my own thing."
Freckles aren't the only thing Aguilera's uncomfortable exposing. Talking to her is an elaborate game of bait-and-switch: After every personal revelation—about her abusive childhood, her politics—she dives behind a smokescreen of neat evasions and polite replies. It's what makes her confounding as an artist... |

It's late on a Friday night in June, and Aguilera is at work with producer Linda Perry, the hot hand behind Pink's recent hits. Also collaborating with Aguilera are Alicia Keys, Dr. Dre associate Scott Storch, Glen Ballard and Dave Navarro. The... |

The young painter is being exhibited at a small gallery near Boston for one month - but gallery owner Michael Bryce thinks Rachel's work shows a great deal of promise - particularly the painting of her sister, which shows Christina in her underwear and stockings, covered by an open jacket. Bryce says, "You can see her relationship with her sister through her art. The portrait of Christina sitting beside a piano is very striking.&quo... |
