Mary J. Blige has just joined the list of artists who will perform at MTV's Video Music Awards on August 28 at New York's Radio City Music Hall. Other artists who will play at the ceremony include 50 Cent, Good Charlotte, Coldplay, and Christina Aguilera. Blige received a nomination for her work with Common on his "Come Close" video.
Blige's new album Love & Life hits stores on August 26. It includes the single "Love @ 1st Sight," which features Method Man.
Blige, along with Aerosmith, Aretha Franklin, and Britney Spears, will perform prior to kickoff for the New York Jets and Washington Redskins game taking place on September 4. They'll play on National Mall in Washington, D.C., to help start the NFL's 2003 season and salute America's military members. |
