There's certainly no holding her down, move over David Bowie, here comes Xtina, the pop chameleon and full-time saucy minx.
Ok, maybe that's exaggerating things slightly (and best not to lump Christina into the same bracket as Mr Bowie just yet) but every release from her 'Stripped' album to date has been completely different. She's either covering all her bases or freely experimenting. Either way it's fair play to her.
The video for 'Can't Hold Us Down' is unintentionally hiliarous and makes up for a rather brittle track. Ms Aguilera is flown in from her cushy superstar surroundings to a ghetto street (read Hollywood set) to preach about respect - Christina and her ladies (including rap midget L'il Kim) taking no sh*t and giving plenty. But surely she'd be taken more seriously if she sacked her stylist.
Holler with her, just don't pinch her arse or you're likely to get a black eye.
