There was more to this year's MTV Europe Music Awards than handbags and gladrags. Tears and tantrums, to be presice.
And we should have known we could count on feisty singer Pink to provide the action.
The brassy blonde left hotel staff seething after demanding food AFTER she'd finished partying at 3.30am.
The pint-sized popstrel breezed into Edinburgh's Scotsman Hotel and ordered her people: "Get me some food."
The she yelled: "Can we stop hanging around and just eat?" She barked at her entourage about how she had not eaten for hours and was "ravenous". And so her minions cleared a table in the brassiere just so she could satisfy her munchies.
The wacky singer had closed the awards and her show went with a bang... with a little help from us.
One of the repeated images Pink chose to use was a giant cutting of the story we brought to you from the World Music Awards last month. The star, real name Alecia Moore, picked out our coverage of her kiss with Terminator 3's Kristina Loken - headlined "Shocker". And another shocker was Christina Aguilera's spat with Kelly Osbourne.

And the girls used the ceremony to engage in a bitchy war of words. Rock child Kelly called her rival "a cow" - and Christina refused to walk along the red carpet unless Kelly was removed from it. Miauw.
A spy also told us the girls nearly had a row on the way to the loo. "When Christina saw Kelly she said, 'Keep that sad little brat away from me', said our source. "Kelly heard her and fled in tears."
Kelly didn't emerge for 10 minutes.
Now, now girls. Perhaps MTV should settle this with a real Celebrity Deathmatch. Or maybe not... |
