| Christina Aguilera: "The Voice Within" - Dec 08, 2003 | She's a good sort is our Christina. She's always looking out for her fans and their well-being. In this way she couldn't be more different to Britney having taken it upon herself to preach some sense to her loyal supports - commendable virtues of self-belief, inner strength and positivity. Good on her.
For an album that was immediately written off for being overlong and directless, 'Stripped' has now produced five superb singles - add 'The Voice Within' to 'Dirrty', 'Fighter', 'Beautiful' and the weakest of the bunch 'Can't Hold Us Down'. Not bad going in anyone's books and who won't invest a... |

| Osbourne VS Aguilera - Mar 25, 2003 | Kelly Osbourne has rekindled her war of words with Christina Aguilera, claiming the pop princess is nothing but a "pussy" that she could throw across the room.
Osbourne, who once branded the singer a "c***" and a "disgusting human being", told this week's Heat magazine Christina was "all talk".
"She's a pussy," said Kelly. "She has a mouth on her, but she's all talk. She only does it because she always has a security guard around to punch anyone she gets in a fight with."
She explained: "[Christina] was like 'Yo girl, artists ... |

"I watch the videos of Christina and I always die," said Versace at her Milan fashion show this week. "She is a great dancer, a great singer, her voice is amazing.
"I always hoped I could do something with her, but I wanted to be friends first, that is the most important thing for me."

| Christina Aguilera: "Beautiful - Feb 2003 | Poor Christina - long considered pop's bit of rough. Next to Britney she was always going to come across as a little bit filthy. Especially when she paraded around the charts in those 'Dirrty' leather chaps.
But it's all change in camp-Aguilera. Gone are the bare butt-cheeks and raunchy dance moves and in come the sophisticated black outfits and a sombre piano ballad.
For a singer who has based much of her career on a carefully constructed image, 'Beautiful' marks a massive, but succesful change in direction. The track - written by Pink hitmaker Linda Perry - is an anthem for inner beauty. ... |

Displaying yet another side to the versatile 20-year-old singer, 'Fighter' is an anthemic slab of feisty rock-tinted pop that already looks like it's gonna follow its predecessors straight to the top of the Australian charts!

| Christina Aguilera, Beautiful, Infatuated and Dirrty - Dec 12, 2003 | Christina Aguilera proved in Australia without a doubt she is no fake.

When Madonna 'passed the baton' at the MTV Awards she passed it to the wrong one. Christina has the potential longevity as she grows and evolves and moves forward, unafraid of hiding behind her public image.

| Tarts Pop Off at One Another - Dec 12, 2003 | Forget the East Coast-West Coast hip-hop rivalry, says Entertainment Weekly. There's a juicier feud afoot, this one among the trifecta of pop tarts, Pink, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.
Of Aguilera, Pink said: "Certain people are leaders, other people are followers." Aguilera dissed back: "When has Pink not been copying me?" And Aguilera dismissed Britney as "teenybopper trash." Ow!
As for Spears, she complained to Diane Sawyer that the two singers get to dress like hos, but it's a "big deal when I do it." Pink even sings about her rivals on ... |

| It May be Time to Drop the Jr. - Mar 17, 2003 | | Robert Downey Jr may be clean but apparently he wants to get a little dirrty. The ageing Hollywood bad boy attempted to woo pop-tart Christina Aguilera by bombarding the 22-year-old with "love faxes" asking her out on a date. After the 37-year-old Downey refused to take no for an answer, X-tina decided to take action and replied with a fax of her own that read: "Look, you're too old!" The first hint he's too old? Communicating via fax! Was his teletype machine in the shop? Two words, Bob: text messaging.... |

| Picking CDs at Christmas is hazardous - Dec 02, 2002 | While Christmas albums have long been a mainstay of the record business, in recent years, it seems that everyone, their dog and Christina Aguilera has released if not a full-length album, at least a single isn't meant as unobtrusive, Muzak-style filler. This is Christmas music that's meant to be heard -- and sometimes even cranked up a few notches on the stereo.

| Kelly Osbourne: Everyone I've Met Hates Christina Aguilera - Dec 13, 2003 | | Ratethemusic.com reports Kelly Osbourne has again lashed out at pop rival Christina Aguilera. "Everyone I know and have met hates Christina. She's very nasty," Kelly said. "I've known her since I was ten and it's fair to say that she's been horrible her whole life. If Christina offered me a white flag I'd kick her in the face. I couldn't even be in the same room as her because I know she would probably come up to me and punch me, and then hide behind some ten-foot tall security guard like a p***y. | Aguilera delivers killer concert - Dec 12, 2003 | US star Christina Aguilera has always had a killer voice, but now she's got killer songs.
The combination of her often soul-searching lyrics and always sky-scraping voice added power to her sold-out show at Rod Laver Arena last night. Opening with Dirrty, the song which reinvented her career (and a video which was the most controversial around until Paris Hilton went a few steps further and gazumped her), Aguilera put most of her pop contemporaries to shame.
There's no miming, no complaining about trying to sing and dance at the same time and no baulking from the high notes.

On backstage antics, Timberlake revealed about the pop princess, "She's not as wild and crazy as people may think! Christina's cool with just kicking back, having a few beers and watching a movie. She didn't really hang out that much on tour. And I probably shouldn't say this, but the short skirts were nice."

You know, I respect Mandy so much and I also love her, even though her voice is not very powerful, I still think that Mandy is one of a kind celebrity. Countless performers such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jewel, and Jessica Simpson have changed their image to a more extreme one. Sexy makeout videos, showing more skin off, that's what all of them do to sell albums or bring media attention towards themselves. And I am not trying to judge them. But Mandy Moore remains the same. | Lady Sings The Blues; Xtina is Better Than You Think - Jun 05, 2003 | In its cover story on Avril Lavigne, Entertainment Weekly dubbed its tomboy subject the "Anti-Britney," a dubious tag that, to her credit, she shrugged off vigorously. "It's stupid," she said. "She's a human being. God, leave her alone!" Lavigne also reserved peculiarly parental concern for Christina Aguilera, four years her senior. The tracks on this disc are: 1. Genie In A Bottle 2. Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You) 3. What A Girl Wants 4. So Emotional 5. I Turn To You 6. At Last 7. Contigo En La Distancia 8. Climb Every Mountain 9. Falsas Esperanzas... |
