The most obvious events that pop into my head are the Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake Super Bowl slip-up, Rudy being voted off All-Star Survivor and that revealing dress Christina Aguilera wore at the Grammys.
Not surprisingly, the media has blown these events way out of proportion. I started thinking the other night how easily these mishaps could have been prevented. | Aguilera Wants to Heal Rift With Spears - Feb 13, 2004 | Christina Aguilera says she wants to be friends with Britney Spears again.
She's sent a "deeply Personal" letter to Spears in a bid to end a bitter and long-standing feud.
In the letter, sent to Spears' Louisiana home, Christina says: "Let's be friends again. We're both deep in this music business, which can get nasty. People take things we say out of context. But we're more similar than we are different - with the same worries and concerns."
