Player's vie for coveted t-shirtType: Internet Article
Player's vie for coveted t-shirt - Feb 12, 2004
This past week has just been a buzz with controversy. The most obvious events that pop into my head are the Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake Super Bowl slip-up, Rudy being voted off All-Star Survivor and that revealing dress Christina Aguilera wore at the Grammys.

Not surprisingly, the media has blown these events way out of proportion. I started thinking the other night how easily these mishaps could have been prevented. There was no need for a five-minute delay at the Grammys or apologies from the stars. All Janet, Christina or Rudy needed to prevent their misfortunes from happening in the...

Aguilera Wants to Heal Rift With Spears - Feb 13, 2004
Christina Aguilera says she wants to be friends with Britney Spears again.

She's sent a "deeply Personal" letter to Spears in a bid to end a bitter and long-standing feud.

In the letter, sent to Spears' Louisiana home, Christina says: "Let's be friends again. We're both deep in this music business, which can get nasty. People take things we say out of context. But we're more similar than we are different - with the same worries and concerns."

Aguilera says she'd like to meet with Spears and "talk things through."

The pair were childhood friends when they starr...

Rock Music Menu: Folkies really do have a followingType: Internet Article
Rock Music Menu: Folkies really do have a following - Feb 13, 2004
The second was by Christina Aguilera, who is so vain that she felt the need to point out the fact that 92 percent of her breasts were being exposed by the skimpy dress she was wearing, and in a poor attempt at humor said she hopes the same thing doesn’t happen to her that happened to Janet.

A) We saw your chest, Christina. No need to point it out to us, so shut up and accept your award with grace; and B) the black hair (wig?) only makes you look trashy.

Jamie Cullum: The young pretender - Feb 13, 2004
"Cullum is part of a new generation of musicians - others include the 26-year-old Canadian crooner Michael Bublé and the ubiquitous Norah Jones - who are making jazz hip again. He's outselling Christina Aguilera, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams. In America, however, he's still unknown. His album isn't due to be released until May, but the campaign to turn him into a household name is well under way."
