The nominations for the first Latin Grammy Awards are out -- and leading the pack with six is producer and songwriter Emilio Estefan.
Estefan's nominations include producer of the year for the work he's done with his wife, Gloria. Estefan has also done work with Marc Anthony, who's up for five awards.
Anthony's "Dimelo" is nominated for record of the year and song of the year. He's also competing for best male pop vocal performance.
Colombian recording star Shakira also has five nominations, including album of the year, best female pop vocal performance and best pop album.
Other nominees are Ricky Martin for record of the year with "Livin' La Vida Loca," Santana for best pop instrumental performance and Christina Aguilera for best pop vocal performance.
The awards will be given out September 13th. |
