| Arena fans' shock - Nov 11, 2003 |  Thousands of fans were left disappointed last night after pop superstar Christina Aguilera pulled out of her sell-out concert at Newcastle Telewest Arena on the advice of her doctor.
Jackie Marston, marketing executive at the venue, said the singer had been diagnosed as suffering from acute bronchitis and had cancelled both last night's Newcastle concert and tonight's performance in Manchester.

The comments appear in an interview published in the March edition of Elle magazine.
