 Christina Aguilera has been back in the news lately since she got engaged to boyfriend Jordan Bratman, but she is not just planning a wedding - she's also finishing a new album and reading through movie scripts, looking for the right role to start her film career.
Christina told MTV.com recently that her new material is "a retro Blues/Jazz/Soul record, but a really meaty, gritty, real raw record of Soul. So it'll feel good - a feel-good record."
The as-yet-untitled album is almost finished, but her film debut may have to wait until the right project comes along. "I've been [reading scripts, but] I'm waiting for the right role," she said to MTV. "It's very important that I don't play myself in a film." |
