| Christina: I pity my poor fans - 2005 | In an interview earlier this week, multi-millionaire Christina Aguilera said how sorry she felt for her poorer fans.
"I pity them, I really do," she said. "To be friends with a celebrity you need to spend big, but I realise that so many of my fans just can't."
She even went on to tell some of these sad, sad stories of desperation: "People try and give me all kinds of things to show me how much they love me: chocolate bars, their cheap clothing, some have even tried to offer themselves."
"I remember this one guy who I met backstage at one of my UK gigs. He ... |

| 3am: Christina Aguilera - Mar 04, 2005 | SHE has a dubious sense of style at the best of times but at least Christina Aguilera won't be inflicting her fashion disasters on the rest of us.
The singer has vowed she'll never launch her own clothing line. In what was undoubtedly a swipe at stars like J.Lo and P Diddy who have fashion ranges, the 24-year-old says: "It's so tacky. It makes people look like they don't know what to do any more."
Rival Britney Spears recently announced plans for her label. We doubt Xtina will queue up for it.... |

| Not on your Nelly - Mar 04, 2005 | We presume this is no reference to the rapper's cleanliness, but Nelly may be banned from an Arkansas town because he's too dirty.
That's dirrrty with lots of 'r's in a Christina Aguilera-stylee.
A church group in Jonesboro in the southern state, are trying to stop the plaster-fancying hip-hopper from performing at their town because his lyrics are just to filthy.
"We first heard from a concerned parent," Reverend Adrian Rodgers told MTV.
"We went searching online for some lyrics, and it is not what we want our children to be involved with.”
Apparently Nelly's suggestion th... |

| Explores why India is a hotspot for world's best entertainers - Feb 04, 2005 | That George Harrison came down to India repeatedly is no secret. Trips to Delhi were in his regular itinerary since he would often come down to learn the sitar from Pt Ravi Shankar. Sting's spiritual quest took him to Benaras on many a private visit to India. While the private visits still continue with Christina Aguilera and Liz Hurley coming down intermittently, the last few years have seen a welcome rise in the number of public appearances of international artistes. Even a Britney and a Beyonce are more than eager to give email interviews to Indian journalists as well.

| Rock Out With Your Thing Out - Mar 04, 2005 | The most mainstream examples of artists using LGBT imagery in their videos are 2004’s “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera, where she uses the image of two young men kissing to illustrate the lyric’s point that they are still “beautiful, no matter what you say” and most recently, Blink-182’s video for “Miss You” in which two female characters make out like it ain’t no thang.
