 Christina Aguilera has just landed a mega-bucks deal to promote Sketchers trainers. The 22-year-old is being paid a whopping six figure sum to be the new face (or should that be the new feet?) of the popular US sneaker brand during her Justified and Stripped world tour.
She says," I like their image - youthful but edgy. They have attitude and are willing to try new ideas." Hmmm, and then there's that big wodge of cash you'll get out of it, Christina...
Christina only got the gig after Sketchers axed their last pop promoter, none other than Britney Spears. Now, that could be considered a reason to reignite those old rivalries, but we reckon Brit and Christina are too busy fighting over Madonna these days to care about some silly trainer sponsorship. |
