CHRISTINA AGUILERA will marry fiance JORDAN BRATMAN in a celebration that looks over the top even by showbiz standards.

The four-day extravaganza starts on Wednesday, somewhere in California's Napa Valley wine-making region.

The invitations hint at a Japanese theme.

The kimono-shaped cards were delivered to guests in shiny black envelopes tied up with a minature sash. The envelopes were inside a tied-up satin cream box which in turn was inside a 15in by 8in box.

And there will be no toasters for Christina or music boss Jordan when they exchange vows next Saturday.

Christina Aguilera has shed a bit more light on her new album on her paid fan site, where she posted that the work in progress is a "throwback to the 1920s, '30s and '40s," which also explains her pinup-glamour-queen look of late.

"I like my look to mirror where I am at musically and lyrically," she wrote. "Some of the songs are kept authentic, sticking to a really raw, old-soul sound, where others combine elements of old blues, jazz and soul with a hard modern-day edge."

Aguilera calls the still-untitled album, due in the spring, her "best work yet."...
