| Floria Sigismondi May 2006 Interview with PunkTV.ca - May 2006 | PunkTV.ca: Speaking of ironies, one of my favorite videos, and one of the least “punk” for this magazine, would have to be Christina Aguilera’s “Fighter”. Were you surprised when your treatment got you that video, and what were some of the main challenges in twisting up what would have otherwise been a pop video? Floria: I wanted to do it because i liked her message in the song directed towards young woman...it promoted strength....Christina was ready to do something different than her norm...she got all her overtly sexual pleasures out and was perfect timing to take her somewhere else. I wan... |

| Aguilera, Guns N' Roses hitting the X - Oct 11, 2006 | The sometimes classy, sometimes trashy Christina Aguilera returns to town March 19 for a headlining gig at the Xcel Energy Center.

Aguilera began her career as a squeaky-clean pop star before moving into more sexually explicit areas with her 2002 disc "Stripped," which she promoted by hitting the road for a dual-headlining tour with Justin Timberlake. (It stopped at the X in September 2003.)
With her latest album "Back to Basics," Aguilera put her clothes back on and incorporated big-band-... |

As she makes her pop comeback, we sit the singer down for a good old girlie gossip.
Christina Aguilera has come a heck of a long way since she burst onto the pop scene as a bottle-blonde teenager in 1998. Not only is she all grown up now, but Christina, 25, also bagged herself a husband last year - in the shape of music executive Jordan Bratman. But one thing hasn't changed. The singer's Dirrty image is as raunchy as ever, and she's still more than happy to flaunt her body in barely there outfits. And after taking a well-deserved break, the ... |

| Aguilera and the Pussycat Dolls come to St. Paul - Oct 11, 2006 | NEW YORK - The most riveting moment of Barbra Streisand's Madison Square Garden concert Monday night was an unscripted one. Streisand endured jeers as she interjected a political skit into the show, exchanging zingers with an impersonator playing George Bush as a bumbling idiot. Though most in the crowd offered polite applause, the routine went on a bit too long for some.
"Come on, be polite!" the singer implored. But one heckler wouldn't let up. Finally, Streisand let him have it and unleashed an expletive, drawing wild applause.
The jeers ended. And the message was delivered: N... |
