RSVPs: It's a rockin' girls' night out with Christina, Lindsay, Paris & Co.

Talk about timing the perfect arrival. My Marc Jacobs heels hit the red carpet at the Moto8 Anniversary Bash a nanosecond before Christina Aguilera's leopard-print pumps! The minute the photographers catch sight of her platinum locks, the camera flashes start going off like strobe lights at a European discotheque. Aguilera twists and turns and primps and poses like a true pro, while I stumble down the carpet partially blinded from the barrage of bright lights and head into the Palladium.
Thankfully, inside it's dark and cozy with zebra-print booths lining the dance floor, glitzy chandeliers dripping from the ceiling and purple drapes covering the walls. Now…where are all the A-listers hanging?
Celeb to Civilian Ratio: 1:50
The celebrities are definitely outnumbered by the hoi polloi. I'm guessing it's the allure of Christina's performance that had everyone pulling strings to get into this bash. "I called everyone I knew in Hollywood and begged," gushes one die-hard Aguilera fan. "I mean, how could I not?"
On the List
Celebs of all ages are out tonight, from sexy Nicollette Sheridan to former hot Housewives gardener Jesse Metcalfe. And interestingly enough, everyone is sitting accordingly. Heather Locklear shares a table with David Spade, and the two seem extraordinarily affectionate for "just friends." Next door, Paris Hilton keeps the crowd entertained by dancing in the booth with her young twentysomething gang of Caroline D'Amore and former America's Next Top Model contestant Lisa D'Amato. (Um, Paris and Lisa friends? Love that!) Across the room, a more mellow Ivanka Trump hangs at a booth with her jet-setting crew, while Lindsay Lohan hops from booth to booth, pausing to spend a chunk of time with Heather and David, but she skips out on buddying up with Paris. Hey, Linds always claims she's an old soul in a young body. Guess tonight she's showing it!
Out on the dance floor, Dominique Swain boogies with a hunky dude, and supermodel Kylie Bax canoodles with her beau. Keeping their appearance under wraps, Scrubs buds Zach Braff and Donald Faison hang around the dark outer edges with Cacee Cobb's brother. Also roaming around are Jason Biggs, Mr. Christina Aguilera Jordan Bratman (naturally) and J. Alexander from America's Next Top Model.
Drinks: No cutesy pink cocktails tonight—instead, the bar is pouring stiff mixes like vodka soda and Jack 'n' Coke.
Got Grub? Everyone's munching on fried shrimp balls, mini cheeseburgers, Thai cucumber salad, pigs in blankets and teriyaki chicken skewers. But it's the sweet-potato fries that are the big hit. I even chase down a server to nab a helping!
Too Glam! I never thought I would see the day when Paris, the picture-posing princess, would be annoyed by having cameras snapping her every move. She stands up on a cushion and surveys the scene below, which, as it turns out, is a huge group of gawkers with cameras in hand. Paris hams it up for a bit, dancing on the cushions and pretending not to pose…but a little ankle cross and hip swivel just comes naturally when a lens points in the girl's direction. But after some 15 minutes, she tires of the photo seekers and stomps off to the bathroom in a huff. Fame…it's a bitch, huh?

On the other hand, La Lohan seems much more adept in dealing with starstruck partygoers. In addition to placing a bodyguard in front of her booth, she keeps her back turned to the room, so no one can spot her pretty little puss as she hangs with pals, including Brit pop dude Robbie Williams. Maybe Paris should take a few notes.
Scene Stealer: Finally, the moment everyone's been waiting for, as Christina comes bopping out onstage with a nine-piece band and a crew of dancers. She's looking crazy hot in boy shorts, a pink button-down shirt, loose tie and bowler hat. And she doesn't disappoint, getting right to it with "Ain't No Other Man." Paris is rocking and singing along to all the words from her perch on the back of a couch, Ivanka's up and moving, even Donald and Zach are shaking it…a little bit anyway. "You guys all drunk and having fun? I hope so," Christina teases. Then she funks it up with a few songs from her new album, Back to Basics.
Gossip 'n' Gab: As Christina starts belting out "Lady Marmalade," my soiree sidekick Sydne Summer heads off to the little girl's room. A few minutes later, she's back and breathless with scoop. Turns out Paris and one of her party pals were in the next stall talking about Lindsay's claims that Harry Morton is stalking her. "Whatever," growled Paris matter-of-factly. "Harry hates her." Ouch. Guess that whole kiss 'n' make up thing between Paris and Lindsay was hardly the real deal.
Party Pooper: Hey, Christina's not even offstage, and already David and Heather are sneaking out. What's up with that? Guess the reunited duo had some biz too take care of…at home.
All That Grab: After Christina wraps with an extended version of "Fighter," the party winds down. And instead of gift bags filled with mints and magazines, we revelers are ecstatic to walk out and discover In-N-Out trucks serving up Double-Doubles and sodas. A delicious burger? Now, that's the perfect parting gift!
