 Christina Aguilera rolled into town on Wednesday as part of her Sony Ericsson European Tour and left her legions of adoring fans in raptures with a show right out of the roaring 20s, backed up with a little bit of circus fun to boot.
Christina set the stage for the evening by kicking off with her recent smash Ain’t No Other Man and then teared off at breakneck speed through her collection of hits and new tracks from her jazz, blues and soul inspired album, Back To Basics, ably supported by numerous costume changes, a cast of dancers and a ‘tight as duck’s arse’ band. She did slow it down occasionally with current single Hurt and everyone’s favourite ‘singing to yourself in front of the mirror’ song, Beautiful, while getting Dirrty in between.
All in all it was a heck of show, underpinned by the all, fantastic, singing and all dancing Ms. Aguilera. |
