YES
When she was younger, Christina Aguilera wasn’t permitted by her parents to get her ears pierced, but she has sure made up for it ever since.
The 21-year-old skin-flashing songbird now has 11 piercings, including her nose, lower lip and some “private places.”
Christina admitted: “If I was having a bad day, or if something was getting me down-boy troubles, whatever- I wanted to go out and get a new piercing. I was definitely a release for me. Something that made me feel a little more strong or empowered, because it had something to do with me and no one else.”
Christina’s been revealing a much sharper, sexier edge recently with the release of her new CD, Stripped, on which she sings about sweating “until my clothes come off.”
“What happened to the Christina who skipped on the beach with her little dancer friends, warbling about a genie in a bottle?” asked Rolling Stone. “The innocently flirt songstress no longer exists.” |
