| Xtina xceptional talent - Mar 16, 2007 |  When the blond bombshell first hit the scene in 1999, she was instantly pigeonholed as a bubblegum pop artist, alongside the then-supersweet Britney Spears.
The fact she was far superior in her vocal abilities was simply overlooked.
Eight years later, Aguilera has silenced almost all of her critics who now agree she is no flash in the pan.
And after seeing her sexy, over-the-top show March 15 at the Saddledome, I must concur. It was, by all standards, an amazing production that mixed elements of Cirque du Soleil and burlesque dance with the leading lady’s awe-inspiring vocal range.
