| Aguilera returns home for performance at Mellon Arena - Apr 13, 2007 | Wexford native Christina Aguilera last performed in this region in January when she appeared at a private party at the Nemacolin Woodlands resort for billionaire Joe Hardy.
She'll be back in the area Saturday night, playing before a larger and, to be sure, less exclusive audience at Mellon Arena Saturday night at 7:30.
Faring a good bit better than fellow former Mouseketeer Britney Spears, Aguilera's most recent album, "Back to Basics," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart when it was released in August.

The blonde US singer, with hits Dirrty and Beautiful, will play Adelaide Entertainment Centre on July 17 as part of her Back To Basics tour.
