| Jacko acquires publishing rights of Björk’s songs - Jun 01, 2007 | Former king of pop Michael Jackson has acquired the publishing rights of some of Björk’s songs. Jackson has also come into possession of the publishing rights for songs by Eminem, Christina Aguilera and Shakira.
Jackson owns a share in Sony/ATV Music Publishing, which recently took over Famous Music LCC from Viacom. Famous Music had the publishing rights to about 125,000 songs, including a few songs written by Björk, Fréttabladid reports.
