 Singer Ivy will perform during the opening concert of U.S. pop star Christina Aguilera to be held June 23 at the Seoul Olympic Park gymnastics stadium.
It will be Aguilera's first concert in Korea. The U.S. singer decided that Ivy, one of the most popular singers in Korea, would be a good fit for this high profile occasion.
Aguilera's tour manager and stage director, who visited Korea June 1-6 for inspections and preparations, reviewed Ivy's albums and music videos received from Ivy's agency. On Sunday, they made an official invitation for Ivy to appear in the concert.
Ivy says it's an honor to share the stage with the U.S. pop icon, of whom she is a fan and "has so much to learn from," adding that she would practice her dance moves by watching Aguilera's videos.
Ivy promised to give her best performance for the audience as well. |
