Pop superstar Christina Aguilera said her son is obsessed with Father Christmas.
The Burlesque star admits her son, Max, 2, who she had with her estranged husband Jordan Bratman, is fascinated by a giant inflatable Santa Claus in her house.
Aguilera, 29, said Max is just starting to understand Christmas and loves all the decorations.
Speaking to Entertainment Editor Kate Garraway on ITV's Daybreak, she said: 'We have this blow up Santa Claus in my house that some would say is actually scary, because he is animated and you touch him and he comes to life and does the 'Ho, ho, ho' bit and sings songs. Max gravitates towards that and he got into the whole Christmas tree thing and decorating it.
'He loves to throw the snow on the tree.'
The Beautiful singer revealed that she loves December herself because it is the festive season and her birthday falls on December 18.
She added: 'I think the spirit of it all is just so fun. I have a birthday so close to Christmas so it's inevitably my favourite month.'
Asked about what she thought of the talent British X Factor, she said there is still chance for runner-up Rebecca Ferguson to do well.
Aguilera, who performed with Ferguson on Saturday's X Factor, added: 'It was so exciting to see. I definitely can remember we had a TV show over in the states called Star Search that I was on when I was 7-years-old.
'I remember being that girl that's timid and nervous and a little shy but I didn't win my competition either, I came in second to someone that now remains nameless. You can definitely bounce back.' |
