 Christina Aguilera has visited "Late Show with David Letterman" to read her top ten tips for aspiring singers. The "Not Myself Tonight" hitmaker once again laughed off an incident at Super Bowl where she forgot the lyrics of the National Anthem, putting "Learn the lyrics to the National Anthem" at number two of the list.
The "Burlesque" actress also made reference to Justin Bieber, saying "If your name is Larry, change it to Larry Bieber" at number nine. The 30-year-old performer warned aspiring singers not to do piracy when reading her tip number 4, saying "Listen to as many different styles as possible...but if you illegally download my music, I'll kill you."
Promoting NBC's singing contest "The Voice" where she serves as a judge/coach, Aguilera mentioned, "If you watch 'The Voice' on NBC, I personally guarantee you'll win a Grammy," as tip number three. At number one, meanwhile, was "Start out singing for small audiences like on 'Letterman'."
Aguilera taped her appearance on "Letterman" at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Monday, May 16. Earlier that day, she joined NBC 2011-2012 upfront presentation in New York City to promote "The Voice", wearing a polka dotted Dolce&Gabbana dress. |
