Cee Lo Green has confirmed that has has recorded a duet with pop provocateur Christina Aguilera. In an interview on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon (via NME) the singer said the song was recorded for Aguilera’s film, Burlesque.
The two are judges together on US talent show The Voice. Green said of Aguilera, “Christina’s just like the best to me. We did a song together, a few years ago. It actually was supposed to make the Burlesque soundtrack, but it didn’t make it. I’ve been seeing people tweeting about it lately, so I guess they’re going to release it.”
Together they have performed a version of Gnarls Barkley‘s Crazy on The Voice, while Aguilera has in the past expressed her admiration for Green, saying they had “been trying to work together for a really long time.” |
